Actually you have no idea of whether or not Ghandi.... or any other person, died in faith.
all you can kow is what they did in this life and what they taught. Hope u don't mind if I pass on condemning anyone to hell. I have read the bible a few times and I am as sure of the requirements for heaven as I am that there is only 1 judge of who has true faith. Last time I checked it weren't you.

And what do you think of
this article? Unfortunately, the video seems to no longer be at the website.
However, I found a very similar video.
And let there be no doubt: This is done by the military itself (DefenseLINK.mil), paid for by tax dollars and under the cover of authority, not just people giving their opinions on their faith, but the US military actively promoting it.

"When you're told, "Troopers, we're going to go take that hill," you can't stop, fall to your knees and see what your particular version of Moses, Vishnu, Satan, Jesus, Mohammed, Allah, whatever they're going to say, and then quickly make a cellphone call to your family."
...and thank you Mr. LITERAL. Just think, he managed to get through law school with that limited brain.

Punks like Mikey Weinstein and the others trying to subvert the First Amendment can strut all the military bona fides and experiences they want. It makes no difference.
The bottom line is, these unAmerican jerks are not on our side but on the enemy's side...

Military officers, no more than teachers or other public officials, including the President (who is the commander in chief), do not lose their constitutional rights simply because they are in an office of public trust or in uniform. You want to bet? Military officers have a lot of things that they can not do while a member of the Military, especially when in uniform.

Troopers, we're going to go take that hill," you can't stop, fall to your knees All the better reason to pray (alone or with others) BEFORE it's time to take the hill.

Weinstein has been on a jihad against evangelicals at the Air Force Academy, too. He's looking more and more like a raving moonbat.
He forgets the Constitution he claims he's willing to shed his blood for (as a JAG, for freak's sake - what he's willing to take a pen in the chest?) has something called the free exercise of religion clause in the First Amendment.
In the volunteer military, a large number of soldiers are from the South and Midwest and are Christian conservatives, because they are attracted to the service. Get over it, Mikey.

So, exactly why should ANYONE have to wait until they are out of the military, out of office or anything else to talk about their faith? The same reason you cant date a subordinate and the same reason you wouldn't want some queer asshole in a foxhole with you. Breaks down unit cohesion and order. If asked about their faith fine but prosletizing to those who could care less, no.

You don't lose ALL your rights under the Constitution, but you do lose most of them! I love it when people think their "rights" trump anything.
When you put on the uniform and take the oath you lose the right of free assembly, of speech, freedom to travel. I know an E-7 (Sergeant First Class) who was court-martialed for being late to formation. You miss reporting to travel overseas and you can be tried for anything from AWOL to desertion or cowardice in the face of the enemy> You lose the right to life itself if the commander deems it necessary.(ie charge that hill). Your "rights" are subjugated to the accomplishment of the mission. And no you do not have the right to stop, kneel down, and pray before the assault, You can pray/curse/whistle all you want, but do it as you move forward. Some of need to spend 8 weeks withh an old time hard core drill sgt to find out waht "rights" you have. You can't even piss without permission!

If he can't, couldn't he be sued for libel? It depends on whether flag-grade officers are considered "public personalities" under the law. That's a gray area.
If Weinstein is in the military, he may be subject to punishment for publically going after the brass, though.

Does anyone else find unnerving the disconnect between the in-country attacks that evangelicals face from Jewish liberals (not all Jews, don't misquote me) and the almost unwavering support for Israel that is found in the American Christian community?
I truly believe that without the support of the American Christian community Israel would have been over-run years ago. Without Christian Americans - modern Israel would today be little more than a historical footnote.
Yet, many American Jews continue to seek openly the destruction of evangelical Americans... Odd.

The tone and tenor of the comments on this site were vastly different when the Navy summarily discharged a female officer who simply marched in a parade for a group that supported a political end that most, including myself, find objectionable. The act of these officers in the video contains no distinction even though the end sought is different. Yet, the self-righteous outrage is focused 180 degrees. The intellectual and social value of consistency apparently holds no office here.
The high ranking officers who allowed themselves to be used to advance a distinct evangelical agenda should be counseled on the inappropriateness of their action and a letter of reprimand be place in their Officer Evaluation (OER) file. I, on a personal level, applaud their adherence to faith and their energy in promoting it while, at the same time, condemn the doing so while in the uniform that represents a religion-neutral governmental agency. Their act is no less an endorsement of religion vis-a-vis the absence thereof than is the ostensibly neutral movie or TV scene in which we see a Coca Cola, Ford hood ornament, Prada skirt, etc an endorsement of that product. In this instance, religion is merely a product to be hawked and promoted like Wrangler Jeans.

Which are Weinstein's words and which are Koppelman's?
Beware of media screeds where it is difficult to distinguish the words of the writer from the those of the person he writes about.

Many [evangelical Christians] tell me, "Mikey, OK, Anne Frank, Dr. Seuss, Jack Benny, Gandhi, they're all burning eternally in the fires of hell." That's actually "Reform Islam". ;) Lots of Old Testament Retributionists out there.
