Hillery is looking for an attractive running mate... BINGO! We have a winner.
He will pull in 99.5% of the black vote while Her Heinous will pull in most single women and stoopid women.

What's the matter? Don't you like the sound of the title: President Hussein?

I thought Free Republic was responsible. I haven't been watching any news for a few weeks, so everything I hear is from FR and he sure gets his share of text here.

Robert George (NY Post editorial writer) thinks it's because Americans have a deep yearning for unconventional candidates--i.e., not white males. Although he quickly adds, like the standup comic he is, that some of his best friends are white men.

"Even Fox is doing it!!!!" "This is pure mass media hysteria.""Mob rule, by another name= HYPE"
The only problem for the guy is that he is REALLY going to have to watch his back now that the media is NOT giving Hillary as much attention as she believes she is entitled to!!
This man will experience an "accident" of some kind!

The media, it's clear. I shocked they are touting him over Hillary.

That is a rather obscure 20th century horticultural reference.
I don't think we have enough dykes.....yet.
Maybe New Orleans if they don't fix the levees.

He's the only black man that uses proper English on TV. That is so, but the problem is how he is going to get across to the African American voting block.

Obama is a celebrity. People are reacting to him "as if" he were a real person in their lives. With atomization of social living, the decline even of the nuclear family and the isolation on the job and in society there is a tremendous psychological hunger for personal contact. People want someone in their lives.
People being creative take on a celebrity as the center of their day to day life. Some know more about their celebrity than anyone in their real life. The public to Diana's death and the consequent mourning exemplify this
Further, people want to believe in something. As all other beliefs are tossed under the bus they look for that certain someone to lead them and the world out of the dullness and difficulty of everyday life. This is the secret of despots. They are a tremendous solace and support for the disaffected. The commitment to him is "passionate" in the sense it lacks empirical foundation; hence, it is more powerful than ideology. He is dangerous since those committed will not look at him in a critical way and he will be able to coast on emotion rather than submit to reason. The weaker the culture, the more likely we are to find celebrities to fill in the voids. The best celebrities urge egalitarianism for their followers and worship of themselves for themselves. You can see this every day.

THE MEDIA IS IN THE TANK FOR THIS GUY! ABCBSNBCNN are shilling like crazy. Haven't seen anything like it since '60 when the big networks went to work hard for JFK.
The liberal pimp Dem media never saw a minority they didn't love; with Obama it's more than that, they are going to demand that he be on the ticket.
Given their power they may well get their wish. Hillary/Obama '08 looks like it.

I think the media knows Hillary is unelectable and this is their ploy to force her out.

That is so outrageously wrong that I can't believe you said it.

I want to know where he was born. Is he a natural born citizen of the U.S.? The way people are flocking to him, I suspect he could be the Anti-Christ.Uh, if he wasn't a natural born American he wouldn't be running for President.
As for being the Anti-Christ... lol, talk about having an active imagination. There is nothing extraordinary about this man.

What's driving Obama-mania? The successful campaigns of Harold Ford, Jr.; Ken Blackwell, Lynn Swann; Michael Steele; and Kwasi Imfume.

As I was sitting for 90 minutes at the doctor's office they had CNN on the TV. CNN ran almost nonstop Obama stories saying how he is loved by everyone, everywhere, and they're already crowning him the second coming of Christ.
