Then why attack GWB on an anti-Kofi thread?

That wasn't an attack. That was a legitimate observation. Not to worry, if I were to attack the President, you would know it.

Why not just show some support for our President when he is under attack from a foreign enemy?

Our President has enabled that foreign enemy (the U.N.) by allowing them to dilly dally and delay our liberation of Iraq, most likely allowing Saddam to ship all of his WMD materials into Syria, and the U.N. has done nothing to assist the U.S. in the war on terror, there have been ineffectual reforms of that corrupt band of crooks, and every day our President permits that organization to remain within the borders of the United States, that is one more day those subversives are further empowered to undermine American interests around the world.

The President should have thrown the bums out LONG ago. The League of Nations never died, it just changed it's name.

The Constitution doesn't allow the President to send his political enemies to the gulag, last I read it.

Big difference between banishing rogue RINO-Republicans from the party and imprisoning people in a 'gulag'. Read 'One Day In The Life of Ivan Denisovich' and maybe you'll see the major differences. FWIW, the Constitution doesn't have a thing to say about how any political party enforces unity and loyalty to it's organization.

What exactly has this man accomplished in his tenure with the UN? I cannot think of a single positive thing. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Ask the guy on the right. He apparently had no problem with Kofi Anus and his corrupt bunch of hoodlums staying in New York City for damn near 6 years next month!

Ah, but what say does he have in the matter? A President has to be diplomatic, no matter his personal feelings. It is a prerequisite is it not?

Ah, but what say does he have in the matter?

He's the President of the United States. He has as much say as he WANTS to have.

A President has to be diplomatic, no matter his personal feelings. It is a prerequisite is it not?

The only meaningful prerequisite for serving as President is to be a natural born U.S. citizen, and to swear to protect, preserve and defend the Constitution of the United States from all enemies, foreign and domestic.

In the case of the U.N., they qualify under both categories, a collection of foreign enemies, common crooks and con men, and they're located domestically in downtown New York City.

Mr. President? Throw the bums out!

I'm with you, and I'm not even American. I think your country has put up with way more crap than they deserve from the UN. I think that if the UN must exist, than maybe they should set up shop in Switzerland. Seems like a good place for them. Not as far for them to go to access their bank accounts.

The U.N., in concept was and is a fine idea. Unfortunately, in practice we have ended up with the very same sort of international confusion and babble (pun intended) as did the original Tower of Babel as described in the Bible, when all the peoples of the world intended to build a structure that would reach up into the heavens, and God scattered them into seperate nations, languages and cultures.

I daresay that the U.N. is the second attempt (the League of Nations being the first) to undo what God did at Babel.

This world will not be ready for a single unified government until the King of Kings returns to establish same. All human attempts to construct such a global government are doomed to disaster and chaos.

Mark my words.

And as Bartles & Jaynes used to say 'Thank You For Your Support' ;)

Ah mkjessup, I agree with you 100 percent. There will be no peace until the King of Kings returns. What bothers me most I guess, is people like Kofi, making money off of the poor and innocent. And laying blame at the feet of the US. I hope there is a special place in hell reserved for people like him. I am a Canadian, who sees the US send aid and all kinds of help across the globe in times of distress. I see other nations do nothing and rag on the US for not doing enough. I see a whole lot of things. I see your great nation poised on the edge of an abyss. I pray to God, your great Nation will wake up, and overcome all that lies before her. If not, she is doomed to the dustbin of history.

Thanks for the ping.

I just saw Newt on Cavuto (FOX news) give an excellent
run down of Kofi and his wealthy jet setter sycophants
and left wing corrupt dictators he hangs with and rips the U.S. So typical of users and takers of society.

From the book of Ezekiel:

"But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand."

Our government, and the political leadership of BOTH the Republicans and the Democrats should be pondering that Scripture and how it might be applied to them on Judgment Day.

Quite frankly my FRiend, I suspect that your Prime Minister 'gets it', and he will do everything in his power so long as he leads your government, to protect Canada and to keep her people safe.

He is a true leader, and we need more like him on BOTH sides of our common border.

I only wish it could be so.Every week in our small town paper is a cartoon. Each one depicting Harper in a bad light. I just shake my head wondering where these people come from. They run negative ads about our troops in Afghanistan. It makes me sick. How many people fall for this BS? Too many I am afraid. I keep voting conservative, but so many will not back the war in Afghanistan. The Liberals, with a damn nother frenchie at the helm will win another election, because Canada does not want to see her soldiers do actual duty. And you can bet your bottom dollar that Dion will use that as his platform. The french scum. And us normal people in the West will have No say about it. Anymore than we ever do. God Bless Stephen Harper.

I don't think we have to get broad international support to defend ourselves against the islmaofacists nor any other threat to us.

I am sick of this dictator/communist/terrorist puppet and his condescending singsong pidgin English.

You can bet that he will be in NY the majority of his post-UN life, despite his feigned disgust.

I am sorry to say...you're correct. Comforting, no?

Yes but he will pay little or no US tax on his considerable income. Ain't diplomacy great?
