What do you expect? the Birth rate of Spaniards is so low, they reduce there numbers by half every 35 years. At that rate, there will be no more Spaniards in Spain by 2111 AD.

They are not willing to have enough children to replace their population. There are about 40 million Spaniards in 2005. By the end of the century there will be less than 7 million. They will be outnumbered by Muslims in 70 years. If you do not have enough faith in your future to have children, you are done. Even El CID could not work a miracle in 21 Century Socialist Spain.
