Shmeer for schemer! That is hilarious.
The EBs I've had don't have too much salt. The dominating flavor is the onion and garlic.
Speaking of salt, the salt bagel is really delicous too. It's best with honey-walnut cream cheese, a great sweet/salty combo.

I like mine with lox, cream cheese & capers. I go out of my way to order it like that when my kids are with me, because it grosses them out.
