That's right. People should mind their own business.
From a lib's perspective, they would love to love a lesbian or a fag.
I have three grand children who became fatherless just about a month ago. Ages 8, 12 and 14. My daughter is 33 years old and now has to be the only parent raisng those children, unless she some day decides to remarry.
It will be tough for her but I am confident that she can do it and do a good job of it too.
Because of the miles between us I won't have a lot of input in their lives but will give it all I have.
I think it is of vital national interest to know if she used a turkey baster, rent-a-stud, or some new-fangled technology using vaccum pumps and cryogenics. Meanwhile, posse comitatus was essentially repealed last month by the Republican Congress (with Bush's signature) and nobody seems to care a whiff. We're doomed.
Wrong. Not in the United States. Individuals are free to make their own choices here. And they (hopefully) experiecne the consequences of their choices. The far right - just as the far left - wants to control us. I understand that it is very hard for those on the extremes to understand that it is not their place to control others' choices.
Since no child would choose not to have a father, the crime is far more pronounced than any restriction that could be placed on gay parents.
That is not true. There are indeed children who would choose not to have a father.
Do YOU have a father? What is curious about this whole issue to me is why they did not adopt.....
"And you would be surprised as hell as to who she was and who she worked for."
Stop pretending this person exists!
"Just look at the replies on this thread, most conservatives don't give a damn about this issue, because, as conservatives they believe that its none of their business to interfere in people's personal life."
I would never interfere with the fundamental right to have a mother and a father.
Other people might, but that would make one a bad person in doing so.
Who cares? I've already heard enough of this & the MSM is trying their hardest to make this a BIG deal!!!
It has always been one. Every honest therapist that has studied the problem will tell you the same thing.
Yes, it does. It's a wonderful thing to have a child coming-to-be in the Christmas season!
I wish the family much happiness!!
Exactly. I really could not care less about what consenting adults do.As for child rearing, I am sure that many here would tut tut my methods, but it prodcued a son who entered Harvard at 17 with a full year of college credits, a darling who married a wonderful woman , is a very successul entrepreneur and a fabulous father.
No one has a lock on what's best for others.
Homosexual Agenda / Moral Absolutes Ping. The Log Cabin Libertines are out in force on this one defending turkey-baster parenting.
Well said.
And I'm sure liberal Democrats and other moral relativists would agree with you. But frankly, I don't care what the blood thirsty moonworshippers think. We are fortunate to be living in a civilized society. Unfortunately the hippy generation are trying to deconstruct it and send us back down the civilized ramp which our society has climbed for the past 6000 years.
Townhall is not the MSM. World Nut Daily is not the MSM. This is the fringe aspect of the Republican party that believes moral laws should be established at the national level that's making it a big deal. The very idea is an affront to the vision the Framers had for this union of states.
Sorry, you don't get to know who she is. I respect her privacy.
You would be surprised.
I really feel sorry for you, you play into every one of the worst bad stereotypes that the left believes.
I really hope you evolve.
The folks obsessing over this pregnancy, both here (like you) and those in the media like Janice Crouse, won't feel better unless Dick Cheney holds a press conferance calling his daughter an abomination and his grandchild a bastard.
Give it a rest and quit carrying on like John Kerry about lesbians.
"Wrong. Not in the United States. Individuals are free to make their own choices here."
Semantics. You have veered from issues of value into plain mechanical function.
"There are indeed children who would choose not to have a father."
No, there are not.
Garbage.
This could be their business, but this is not something to be pleased or to be admired.
Cheneys are in a difficult spot, its not that they can control the sexuality of their daughter.
It maybe is their private business , but it is not something the society should be proud off.
