The battle of the Bulge was a failure. We still won. I do believe we can easily win this thing as we eliminate the PC elements. I think that will come when we are attacked again stateside.
I have no problem with levelling a couple of strategic cities there, but we need to be motivated at home. I fear we will be.
David Gregory needs a therapist.
Fortunately for us, the minority Republican Party did not use the war in Europe as a political strategy to divide the nation and gain political points. They did not call out, "Hitler did not bomb Pearl Harbor, why are we in Europe?" as a rallying cry to withdraw our troops. "The war will be easier to win if we concentrate on Japan!" they might have cried.
We declared war on Japan, and then Germany declared war on us. It saved FDR's administration a hell of a lot of trouble when Hitler did us that favor, btw, because there was a very large number of Americans who would have asked just that question.
Favorite TV personality: Christine Amanpour. "[She's] fearless, and she's a model of what a journalist should be: hardworking and what I call a rock-and-roll journalist, but still down-to-earth and not aloof. And she's not caught up in any of the superficial aspects of the businessthat's refreshing."
One of Malveaux's favorite journalistic experiences is also a personal one. "It was on a long trip with Mrs. Clinton. I'd turned 30 earlier that year, but because I'd been so busy working and traveling, I'd never had a party to celebrate that special birthdayand I'd been lamenting that fact to one of our photographers. As we were getting back to Washington after this really grueling trip, I fell asleep. Just before we landed, I felt somebody tapping me on the shoulder. I woke up, and it was the First Lady with a birthday cake and candles. She said, I hate to think you'd missed your 30th birthday.' And with that, she started to sing Happy Birthday, and everybody joined in. I thought, wow, this is a great birthday after alland not a bad way to make a living."
sad but true
I would go so far to say that if the world (including France) is lost to extremists it will be because of the liberal media slant in the US and Britain.
The WH needs to pull their WH passes!
This is so low that to continue to allow them access to the WH grounds is negligence!
CNN's Suzanne Malveaux: 'We Hope' Kerry Story 'Is Going To Go Away Tomorrow'
Posted by Michael M. Bates on October 31, 2006 - 22:43.
On "The Situation Room" this evening, CNN White House correspondent Suzanne Malveaux spoke to Paula Zahn about the firestorm surrounding John Kerry's comments suggesting Armed Forces personnel are uneducated:
"And, of course, Paula, what is really telling here is that Kerry, for most of the day, was alone in his explanations, and trying to figure all of this out -- Democrats quietly saying that they really wish Kerry had kept quiet on this one.
"But, late in the day, Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer released a statement, criticizing President Bush's criticism of Kerry. And, then, Paula, late in the day as well, we got yet another press release from Kerry, criticizing, reacting to Bush's criticism of him earlier in the day, calling it smear.
"So, we hope and we think that all of this is going to go away tomorrow. But we will just have to wait and see."
CNN hopes and thinks that "all of this is going to go away tomorrow?" Presumably so the cable news network can get back to the really important stories, ones like how badly the GOP will do in next week's elections. Or how terribly things are going in Iraq. Or how unpopular President Bush is.
Yes, by all means, let's hope and think the Kerry fuss is going to go away tomorrow so CNN can provide the news it wants us to hear. They know what's best.

08/05/2005 I'm sorry people, I didn't know Suzanne until she tried to sleep with my girlfriend... And for that I give her a zero. For what I learned about her on this website, she must be a remarkable woman and I would give her a 4 just by looking at the other remarks... one knocked down for the hair :)

12/08/2006 She doesn't look too bad for forty year old, but as soon as she opens her mouth, you know that she is a total idiot.

07/05/2006 Someone called her a "goddess" and on my screen that word was underlined as a link which, when you mouse over it, pops up a link to Wicca and the site WorkingWitches.com. I find that relevant, because there's something very disturbing about this woman's looks. Someone said she looks like an exotic voodoo priestess, and that's not far from the mark. An "evil doll" is how I'd sum her up. And an evil doll who has a first-class intellect and is informed about everything that's going on in the world is even more dangerous. Beware of this woman. Careful she doesn't give you the evil eye as you sit idly watching CNN and implant in your mind the sudden urge to go and jump off a cliff.

Time Warner's Dick Parsons runs CNN.....and he wants to be the next black mayor of New York City.
"She may be biased, but I don't think that you can call her fat."
She has equine teeth.
