As for blacks, the Democrat party has done a better PR job by searing "Republicansim=Racism" into their minds. And in the aftermath of the 50s/60s when one party is giving you free handouts and other (unfair) advanatages, while the other party being demonstrably against it, is constantly being portrayed as racists, how hard is it to win their hearts and minds ?

But what is it about the liberal ideology that is attractive to American Jews? Just because? I mean they SAY that they are for the poor, the downtrodden, the hungry, the thirsty, the homeless, but are they really? Do their actions through legislation show that? Do they do anything more than take money from those "Evil Rich Republicans" to feed their desire to spend? And why is it that the Republicans cannot be rich, but just about every Democrat Senator is swimming in dough?

The whole Party just seems to be one big "say one thing, do another."

Seriesly, they are the Chair and Ranking members of the Homeland Security Committee...and they have done all kinds of hearings and investigations together, and I think I remember a blurb about them traveling together.

I have seen pics of them in hearings...and I was joking with Bah and Mol one day that I thought they were making goo-goo eyes at each other....LOL

I will leave it to Bah to give you a legitimate, grown-up opinion.

I appreciate the education and it is real good information. But Muslims, Jews and Christians lived a LONG time in what was Palestine before the UN partitioned it. What bothers me is that the old Muslim Brotherhood got its education from the German Nazis--so even after the Nazis are (mostly) dead and buried, the Brotherhood (in the form of the Jihadists) are still so virulent. Palestine, to quote the British, was nothing more than a "geographic expression" and while they make it a big deal today that Jerusalem is the third most important landmark in Islam, it IS Third. It was nothing but a dusty backwater before the just half of it was given to the Jews. And the Jews can't even go to their sacred Temple because it's below the Golden Dome which was built over it. It doesn't make a lot of sense...
