This will no doubt generate some controversy. What I'd like to see is, instead of perjorative name calling, how about using facts to disprove statements you disagree with? Hmmm?

In his book, The Age of Fallibility, George Soros declared, “The main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States.”

Is that a genuine quote -- it is outrageous!

"This will no doubt generate some controversy."

You have to have make some sort of clear statement if you want to generate a controversy. Rambling statements like this are not gonna do it.

This is the best description of what we face, in one article, I've seen in a long time.

Interesting. No dispute.

Personally, I think we're going to need some kind of hemispheric union of some form in order to compete in the coming centuries with China and India, especially if they form some kind of union (trading or otherwise) with each other and/or with Russia.

The USA just does not have the capacity in population or resources to compete alone with such a potential monolith. And we'll be worn down by penney-enny wars to "protect vital interests" in parts of the world were we may ultimately have no control.

Look at a globe. Building ties in our hemisphere (and I understand there is debate how to do that) is our only hope.

Geography and demography matter.

Early in Bush II's first term, there was an article in my local paper bemoaning Bush's policies on Kyoto, the ICC, and other internationalist entities. I clearly recall one person stating - without equivocation - that the idea of national sovereignty was now accepted by "almost no one," and that Bush was very out-of-step. So I might question the degree to which Bush intends to undermine American sovereignty, but is there any doubt at all that the Left wants to do that? The international and American left are 100% committed to undermining American sovereignty, republican government, religious freedom, the Constitution, and freedom of expression. They are also intent on eradicating or marginalizing Christianity and paving the way for Islam. A couple of Islamic Sufi organizations have their tentacles locked onto the U.N., particularly through UNESCO.

Globalization is another name for transnationalism. Open borders, travel anywhere in the North American continent without papers, just a green card. You're called a 'trusted traveler'. This is what the CFR proposes...they don't seem to have noticed that most people who come to the US don't go home. So we pick up health care, education, etc..

Not vouching for it's veracity, but there seems to be a quite a few google hit for that very quote.

It may very well be accurate. And I have no doubt that Soros would sell his filthy, black and corrupt little soul to destroy the U.S.

And you too.

I'd like to see more evidence of who/what is behind the move to destroy sovereignty; there's more than just Soros. I remember reading about 6 years ago a couple of articles about who controls 90% of the media in the world, not counting places like FR. Almost all publishing houses, TV, movie production, radio stations, newspapers, etc - owned by seven entities. That's interesting.

" or as George Bush, Sr. called it,"
Who the hell is George Bush Sr.? Could the author be refering to President George H.W. Bush?

Good job on the keywords. Now if you could only post some cogent arguments to defeat her premise!

Will migrant workers be drawn to China and India where they will add diversity to their cultures, build their economies and inhabit their newly formed middle class?

"Now if you could only post some cogent arguments to defeat her premise!'

Other than the FROBL, the Globalists and the Libertarians on this board, you won't get much of an argument at this point in time. With all that's been happening, just since the election, not very many people will disagree with her assertions. (especially not me) We have been warned time and time again of these things coming to fruition. Most of America has basically been lazy or asleep, not to see this coming. God help us!
