Maybe then he'll leave us alone. >>
And if they don't, then we'll feed'em Jim Baker's leg and Sandra 'Swinger' Day O'Connor's.

I heard him say during the Senate hearings that he was involved on the panel for the initial educational phase and was not involved in the drafting of the report.

People should tune in and listen to what he's saying

I heard him say during the Senate hearings that he was involved on the panel for the initial educational phase and was not involved in the drafting of the report. He resigned less than a month ago. The 142 page report wasn't written, argued over and published in under a month -- in fact, portions of the report were leaked even before he was nominated. Clearly it existed then, even assuming some changes since.

e sounded pretty approving of the report this morning.Best way to handle this. Thank them for their wise council, tell them you will seriously study their recommendations and you will impliment as many of them as possible. Then on your way to the private quarters, drop the whole thing in the trash bin.

I hope that is what he does. I'm trying to keep an open mind about what is going on in the WH these days.

He is saying the Baker/Hamilton report is a basically surrender. We need to confront Iranian Islamic Facists.

It's premature to say that Bush endorses this report or anything that's in it.
To: Liberty Valance
I agree with him.
Anyone know how we could raise $100million dollars so he can run for POTUS?
To: Alter Kaker
Maybe it did exist but that doesn't change the fact that he didn't write it. You are not satisfied with attacking Baker, you just have to pin the blame for this report on the administration by smearing Gates.

You are not satisfied with attacking Baker, you just have to pin the blame for this report on the administration by smearing Gates.I'm not attacking Baker or Gates. I'm attacking the report, and I'm worried that the person or persons responsible for the report will be in a position to see it enacted. Baker's a private citizen, so I think he's not a threat. But Gates is not.
