Wow, check the numbers that WIA posted in #17 !!!!
So much for allies in stopping the murder of infants.
(of course from walking precincts, I knew abortion wasn't really frowned in in the immigrant community)

"Economies must not stagnate but grow."
They can grow without population increases. It's called productivity.
Importing cheap labor hinders, not helps, investment in productivity enhancements.
A wise man once said "Only fools and economists believe you can have infinite growth in a finite world.".

Well, then the civilizations are destined for hell together.
So, now there's no silver lining at all.
The Hispanics will predominate, and Democrat party socialiosm will prevail.
Unfortunately, American Democrat socialism is still moralistic socialism. That Puritanical streak remains.
If we're going to go atheist, let's go Dutch atheist, where there is economic socialism, but there's no such thing as a sexual sin. At least that is FUN.

No, you missed the point. From my post...
Black and Hispanic women have higher rates of abortion than non-Hispanic whites, the report states.
In 2000, there were 14.8 abortions per 1,000 non-Hispanic white adolescent females ages 15-19, compared with 57.4 per 1,000 among non-Hispanic black adolescent females and 30.3 per 1,000 among Hispanic adolescent females.

I'm am sick of hearing that the Illegals are here because it is our just punishment for aborting babies. I could scream.
We are importing service and construction workers..So what do you think we are going to do with them when their bodies start wearing out?
We'll just have to take care of them..millions of them living off of assistance, while yet another wave of young, strong Illegals slither across the border to take their places.
It will be a never ending cycle.
I don't know what the abortion rate is in Mexico, but I do know they wouldn't ever think of aborting a Potential US Citizen "Anchor" Baby while illegally in this country..Jackpot!

The borders should have been shut on September 12th, 2001. We have no idea who's in this country.
But nothing is going to be done. Both political parties are completely compromised on this issue. The only thing we can do is try to stave off ANY immigration legisltion until 2008.
And pray for a strong leader to step forward.

How long did any of the recent Great Empires last?
Spain lost just about all of her colonies in the 1890's,
The UK in the 1960's. While I would never consider the USA a great colonial power, our position in the world will slip greatly under a Democrat era.
Oh well, fun while it lasted.
I knew Dubya was for a guest worker program, he made no bones about it. But when said he wanted a "Path to Citizenship", he revealed his true side.
Now I voted for him, even sent $X,000 to the Swiftboat guys.
But deep inside, I knew never to trust a coke addict.
So I can't blame anyone, but myself for getting sucked in.
(Gonna have ta learn up the grand kids some of that there Mandarin ;^)

"They won't even accomplish number one, closing the borders."
They never intended to. The OBL plan for a North American Union intends to secure the perimeter of the continent, not the borders. And unless we can stop this travesty, that's exactly what we are going to get.
Never heard of the North American Union. Good. They're counting on it.

Are you kidding? Bush has been almost wetting himself talking about "looking forward to bipartisan legislation" for his guest worker amnesty. The de-facto end of the USA as a sovereign country and the birth of its replacement, a merged state with Mexico. What a legacy.

Ignoring them spec...they are obl tools disguised as Freepers...most of them just want what ever Bush wants and will say or do anything to change the subject. Clever, aren't they?

What a bunch of b.s.....abortion is an OBL straw argument. Need bodies, bring them here LEGALLY, or not at all.

Just whose ass are you trying to kiss with, "President Bush has been great on most things except for our border."?
Have you seen or heard him get serious about convincing American women to stop having abortions? No because he thinks he can solve the problem by bringing in 30 million Mexicans who need to be reeducated.
>He has been great on the war on terrorists.<
Sure, he tried to give the ports to the rugriders until the people of America went crazy over the idea. He left the borders wide open as long as he could. How many terrorist groups came in during that time? We'll find out soon enough I suppose.
Remember Judge Meirs, his choice for the USSC. Another choice that drove us crazy.
Carter gave the Panama Canal to the Chinese, Bush gave our manufacting plants to them.
You and I have much different opinions about the man, that is obvious.

How unfortunate that those we elected have chosen to totally ignore our strong majority wishes on this. If our elected officials get what they truly want (open borders, more guest workers, more visas and amnesty) it is only a matter of time before another terrorist attack occurs. This is because: we will continue to have open borders; we will continue to allow more guest workers; we will continue to grant more visas; and we will be giving amnesty to some terrorist who have already illegally entered the country. Terrorists have already destroyed the WTC and have attacked the Pentagon. That plane which was taken down by US citizens was apparently heading toward DC. Surely Congress realizes that they must be high up on the terrorists list of targets. If that probability does not break the lobbyist spell that these politicians are deluding themselves with, nothing will.

Here's your man. The one you think did such a fine job.
I see a world of open borders, open trade
open minds; a world that celebrates
the common heritage that belongs to all the worlds people
I see a world where democracy continues to win new friends and convert old foes
where the AmericasNorth, Central, and Southcan provide a model for the future of all humankind: the worlds first completely democratic hemisphere
a world building on the emerging new model of European unity
