Obama articulately worried that legislation protecting live aborted babies might infringe on women's rights or abortionists' rights. Obama's clinical discourse, his lack of mercy, shocked me.

Over the past couple of months my mind has been boggled by the fits of euphoria being expressed by the MSM over this newcomer who has done apparently nothing of note.

But now I'm beginning to understand...

Don't forget to add, "current lunatics that never met a terrorist they didn't love and feel sorry for." Meanwhile, they demean our brave soldiers and anyone that is religious or patriotic. Yes, we're living in the Twilight Zone of insanity. Welcome aboard.

He is the only lib I am worried about.

Granted he has come up to fast. He is probably been oversold by the media that he cannot possible live up to expectations. But, then again he could be everything they say he is. If he does not crash and burn they could be playing, "Hail to the Chief to this man."

Will never happen...not in your lifetime or my kids. A name like that will never sit in the White House....his views are reflective of 5% of America and that is it.

He will go the same way Howard Dean did...all hype...or will be asked to join Hillary on a ticket which I am not even 100% she would do...since she is a big time closet racist.

Agree. The Dems need a black candidate in the primaries. Obama is far better than Sharpton. When push comes to shove, the Dems vote along racial lines in the primaries. Ask Mfume. The Dems had to come up with a white candidate after Mfume announced his candidacy. Imagine that a former Congressman and head of the NAACP could not even win the nomination in a state where more than 1 in 3 Dem voters are black.

Why are there more posts about whether or not Obama can win based on his name than there are about Republicans as "stale toast"?

Just a guess, but maybe because the republican leaders actually like the direction of the party and the government as long as they can have someone to blame.

That also provides the opportunity to demand more cash from the sheeple who support them as the "only hope to defeat _________" (fill in the blanks with the enemy of the day, democrats, liberals, rinos, the media, etc etc)

Is this Obama person real? Never heard of him/her. I thought when I saw the name it was a joke or something. Where does a person with a name like 'Obama' come from anyway?

I caught a bit of a discussion which included Pat Buchanan. His view was that Obama's trajectory is too high and that he will burn up on re-entry.

Obama did go to one of the top law schools...that's just what the country needs, another lawyer from an elite law school who knows better than the people what's good for them.

Osama Obama is another MSM phenomenom. They have decided Hillary has too much baggage and can't win so they will do everything within their power to make sure he is nominated. They know they can count on the far right to sit out the election if Rudi is nominated. He will be too liberal for them. After this last election, I realized that the far left kooks will be out in huge numbers but it doesn't take much to make a Republican, who has his.her feelings hurt, sit out to teach someone a lesson.

I think that Kevin McCullough should have a urinalysis screen.

The editors at Townhall need to join him. What an atrociously written piece.

I've been thinking the same thing. His charisma totally fits the Antichrist in the Left Behind Series.

This writer has envisioned a scenario that is already unfolding. Obama appeals to blacks who do not realize he is of Muslim Arab descent--ironically descended from the African Arabs who captured and sold Africans as slaves. They do not realize that although many Africans are Muslim, the Muslim hierarchy despises the black Muslims ans looks down on them. I read that the Arabic word for black and slave is the same.

He has a smooth stage presence. I have started my own little campaign to let people know he is Muslim. I don't care what he calls himself, now. He will revert when powerful enough.

I just can't see a guy with a middle name of "Hussein" becoming President of the U.S.

People on our side somehow believe that the mere act of stating the guy's full name is a magic incantation that will torpedo his political career. Bizarro.

"...meanwhile....they demean our brave soldiers..."

not only that; they destroy their morale in an insidious and odious
manner, all the while denying it and proclaiming that they are for peace.......
(peace to a communist swine is the absence of opposition to their point of view and allies...in this case, islamo-fascists.)

Why would he even give such an offer a second thought since he is being so wildly supported by the MSM and the GOP is virtually void any candidate the majority of registered Republicans will vote for and many are threatening to vote third party, a sure win for the Dem running in '08?
