It is exactly that!
Bunch of power-drunk bureaucrats conducting their business with paperwork and red tape, never with their hearts or feelings. You'd think a Florida lawyer was up there telling them how to be mean. These same jackals take children away from allegedly abusive parents, then they do the abusing. They stick the kids off in Dickensian orphanages with politically correct names. Naturally the kids waste away. Bureaucrats don't care. If a kid dies, they can cannibalize the remains for spare parts and make a bunch of money for the state.
Haleigh needs her own mother and grandmother! She was responding to them. Love is therapy.
It was reported that Holli Strickland pushed her repeatedly down the stairs, made her climb back up, then hit her with a baseball bat. She also starved Haleigh and burned her with cigarettes. Then she cut her out of her will, saying she had done too much for the child already.
Jodi Centonze, you are one lucky woman. If Michael had met Holli Strickland, he would dumped you for her so fast! She was just his style. They shared that porcine fashion look, too -- you know, the great jowls, the little piggy eyes. If they had mated, they would have had a litter of oinkers.
Thanks for the warning! :-)
I can just see George Felos in his high priest attire, obsidian blade held high, ready to sacrifice a virgin. I can also just see a bioethics committee from the University of Pennsylvania applauding the sacrificial rites and waiting for body parts.
That pretty well proves that their son-in-law tenant was a total deadbeat, doesn't it :-)
Unless he was paying them rent to help them pay their housepayment. Instead they would pocket the money. Otherwise, they were all deadbeats. ;~)
Michael was unemployed and didn't pay rent. Right?
What a crock. You can leave the most precise instructions in the world and some lawyer will "interpret" them to suit someone else's wishes. Or, you can leave no instructions at all but George Felos, your brother-in-law and your sister-in-law will invent some absurdly vague scraps of conversation from 15 years ago, interpret them to be your suicide wishes, and use them to kill you by torture.
"..grandmother of child-abuse victim Haleigh Poutre, angered over the state's refusal to allow family members to visit her.."
Prayers for all.
I wonder if there's anything we can do to put pressure on state officials, or would it backfire because of stubborness.
"Actually I was a little surprised to see that stick figure. It looked amazingly like a self portrait I once did in art class. Except it has more detail."
I wish I could draw that well. :)
Calling Seminole County Judge John Sloop abusive and unfit, the Florida Supreme Court... kicked him off the bench.
Judge booted from bench Justices say public deserves better, block Sloop from final 4 years of term

The almighty state has decided that Haleigh is no longer a human being so it matters liitle to them if she shows 'improvement' or even recovers, and it is a waste of time to bring humane family activities to her ... she's a non-entity to the dead-soul of the state. And woe to anyone who challenges that ruling!
Don't go to the bureaucrats. Go to their boss. If Mitt Romney is seriously entertaining a presidential run, he had better rescue Haleigh from the child-abuse bureau -- at least to the extent of making sure she receives warm, wonderful care.
If Romney's administration continues to refuse to let Haleigh's mother and grandmother visit, we should take the story to editorial writers around the state.
15 Q After Terri's accident, which was
16 February 1990, were you employed at that time?
17 A After Terri's accident? Yes. I was.
18 Q Shortly after the accident, didn't you
19 stop working at Agostino's?
20 A Yes.
21 Q When did you then become reemployed?
22 A I went back to Agostino's for a month or
23 so. I worked part-time for them. They were under
24 new ownership so -- and that went belly up. Then
25 I just -- I didn't work. I went back to school in
77
1 '93, I believe.
2 Q And you began your employment with
3 Morton Plant in 1996?
4 A Correct.
5 Q So basically from the beginning of 1990
6 until 1996 you were unemployed; is that correct?
7 A Yes.
He got a lot of money in early 1993 from his fraudulent malpractice suit. That enabled him to buy a new Acura and to keep right on not working. But even then, he obviously did worry about his financial future because that's when he tried to kill Terri and inherit her million-dollar trust fund.
Outside of the la-la-land known as bureaucracy, Allison Avrett is, always was, always will be Haleigh's mother. Mom's love -- and grandma's, too -- is priceless therapy for this battered child. How the state can refuse even occasional visits is beyond all of us. Mitt Romney should explain.
Bye, bye, Sloopy.
One man in black will be on the course instead of in the court. Maybe he can tee off with OJ.
Is it time to call Mitt Romney's office before his term is over? (He's not the governor next year I don't believe).
Isn't that gif cute? The bill didn't pass but imo, with everyone giving farewell speeches this past week, I don't think anyone in the Capital had their mind on their work.
Who would want to be a human sacrifice? That's why the ACLU is so bad for America. They are like the mayans.
