Well, it is our job to figure out how to screw up their workings and doings, and then blame it all on them. Would take some creativity, but Karl ought to have a few tricks left.

Dean: Dems Will Defend Gains Via Action

UFB! They are quoting this? This is so profound I am left speechless at the intellectual ninja that calls himself Howard Dean...

They're already backing away from their promise to implement all of the 9/11 commission's recommendations:

It was a solemn pledge, repeated by Democratic leaders and candidates over and over: If elected to the majority in Congress, Democrats would implement all of the recommendations of the bipartisan commission that examined the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

But with control of Congress now secured, Democratic leaders have decided for now against implementing the one measure that would affect them most directly: a wholesale reorganization of Congress to improve oversight and funding of the nation's intelligence agencies. Instead, Democratic leaders may create a panel to look at the issue and produce recommendations, according to congressional aides and lawmakers.

Because plans for implementing the commission's recommendations are still fluid, Democratic officials would not speak for the record. But aides on the House and Senate appropriations, armed services and intelligence committees confirmed this week that a reorganization of Congress would not be part of the package of homeland-security changes up for passage in the "first 100 hours" of the Democratic Congress.

Tax cuts for the rich, who want to sends their kids to Yale with federal tax subsidies. "My country is of thee, sweet land of subsidy."

Hat tip to Jwalsh07 for the tax analysis.

"Don't tax you, don't tax me, tax the man behind the tree."

raising the minimum wage and making college more affordable

Well that new! Shelling out more tax payer dollars to buy votes and/or create dependency.

I give them two years if we get a real conservative leader winning the GOP nomination. We don't need another RINO president and RINO Congress.

""Elections are not mandates. Elections are power being loaned to politicians for a two-year period by the voters of this country," Dean said"

Good grief the only reasonable thing I've ever read of him saying.

Democrats, who will run both the House and Senate come January, have outlined an agenda that includes overhauling ethics, raising the minimum wage and making college more affordable.

Yeah....this will secure our global and economic security. (/sarc)

The next action in Howard Dean's future will be cleaning out his desk at DNC headquarters.

Ethics, minimum wage boost, free ride to their college student constituents? Will they investigate Reid? And when higher wages mean job layoffs how will they pay for them? And as to the students, they have lived off others all of their lives, this just perpetuates the welfare dependency, it doesn't get them into the real world......Look at history : FDR, JFK : they came to the presidency with bold new ideas. These ideas espoused by dean are old, stale, liberal nostrums, hardly the genius new ideas that lead the way to victory in 08'. Thus it's going to be a dem-dim 2 years for us, but HEY, we still have GWB and his veto pen on our side. Obviously the robust economy he has authored will tank....when the going gets tough, the tough get GOING.

YEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW!!!

Coward Dean has it right.

Let's do it.

Vote on abortion and show the people your true colors.

Vote on the Border and show your colors.

Vote on Gun Control and show your true colors.

Vote to keep God in Public view and show your true colors.

Vote on gay marriage and show your true colors.

Vote to pull out of Iraq and show your true colors.

Vote on the right for the Government to make it a crime to say the Pledge of Allegiance or for a child to sing a Christmas carol in school. I want all Americans to see your true colors.

Vote on cutting military funding, right now.

Let's do it.

I know Coward Dean is Yeller, and I say the rest of the Demoratic Party are Red Commies.

Show your true colors you Commie pigs. And we will show all the people who our enemy is. Then we will go to war with them on election day.

Democrats are going to overhaul ethics? haven't thier ethics been reduced to an all time low already?
What are they going to do, make sex with a Democrat president manditory for interns? Make briding Democrat senators manditory, legal and tax free, part of a Democrat senators wages? I shudder to think how Democrats could further overhaul their ethics.

I think they can muck things up without our help. Pelosi is an idiot. Neither Dean nor Pelosi can keep there mouths shut long enough to think about what they are saying.

If the dems in the process make a few things better, let them. It helps us all. Unfortunately chances are they will only raise taxes (but they won't call it raising taxes), they may even wake up middle America again to their leftist/communist ways and they will most certainly say dumb things on camera.

Oh and lets not forget another Democrat priority, they must raise Min. wages. It's a crime that Bush took the lowest wage earning people, and single mothers off the tax rolls, it's urgent that they be put back on them as quickly as possible.
Nobody gets away from paying taxes under a democrat government, (except the liberal elite)

Just in case they do not muck them up sufficiently, help ought to be volunteered. Besides, you forget or overlook the entertainment value.

Do not be too despondent. What was the name of Caligula's horse, who was made a Senator, btw? Incitatus? [well, hillary made it it in the senate, too]. Well, bringing a few bona fide stallions in the senate could only improve the things. At the minimum, bribing them would become so much cheaper - a bucket of oats, a few mares - and voila!
