I never bought the pig story. Huge lettuce fields and spinach fields are sprayed with 'treated' liquid sewage from treatment plants in some production systems. They are not supposed to be srayed too near the harevsting date, however, since sunlight tends to kill the e-coli off if several days pass from fertilizing to harvesting. Someone screwed up and the pig story was released to avoid the truth of how our 'greens' are mass grown.
I don't need to take a pill or crap on a popsicle stick. I don't have any kind of worms. What on earth did I say that you would think I did? I am cracking up laughing. Hahahahahaha
stay away from the street meet after shows, bro!
Gee, that's too bad.
I recently saw on Untold ER stories a gal that went to the Emergency because she had something crawling around under her scalp and she couldn't stand it any longer. She explained it would stick its head out but they could not get it. The Dr. looked at her head several times and could see nothing. To shorten the story, finally her husband ran for the Dr to show him there was hole on her head bubbling and it was coming to the surface. The Dr. hurried in and it disappeared. Ultimately, the little wormy thing did appear and it and another just like it were carefully pulled with tweezers as they surfaced from under her scalp.
If I recall it was some type of larva--can't remember, but it was another weird thing. She had been in Costa Rica and they believed she picked it up there in her hair and it burrowed in the scalp.
Going to bed and probably lay awake feeling all kinds of crawly things now. Have a good night.
Sarcasm, deflection of an actual statement. You think this is native, or are you willing to apply some basic logic here? The guy had to speak through an interpreter. He contracted an affliction that is virtually unknown in this country. Do you have a point or just a round about defense of the cretin who infected this poor guys food with feces?
Just getting the diseases that Americans won't get.
Are you really that damn dense?
"the truth of how our 'greens' are mass grown"
Scary; now I have to throw out the baby spinach I just got.
I lived in the Houston area back in the mid-eighties. A co-worker of mine took a 3 day trip to Mexico. A year later she ended up in the hospital on her deathbed. She had a worm that ate much of her liver (or some other vital organ, but I remember it as her liver). They believed she picked it up from eating under-cooked meat while visiting our lovely neighbor to the south.
These brain worms are agressive too
He's here 20 years and needs a translator?
Why would you throw out your good spinach? Cook it with some garlic and onions and add a dollop of sour cream...It's delicious! ;-)
Just one more thing to like about ILLEGALS!
I saw that too! Geeez!!
My roomate microwaves everything he buys.
>And what's with "developing countries"
The whole notion of "washing" to get rid of bacteria was given by God to the Jewish people at Mount Sinai 3000 years ago. We've only caught on in the last 120 years to the importance of washing, but it's been right there in the Bible for all this time.
"What's with" developing countries is that they are not Christian/Jewish, nor are they educated, so they haven't read the Bible, so they don't wash ... like we still do here in the USA.
Anywhere God's word is not read, like in "developing countries", you get such dreck.
For irrefutable evidence that the Bible is the inspired word of God, please see http://www.direct.ca/trinity/y3nf.html
