A newly modified A-10C Thunderbolt II taxis in during the roll-out ceremony Nov. 29 at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz. The A-10 has been modified with precision engagement technology to create the new and improved A-10C. The enhancements include full integration of sensors, multi-functional color displays and a new hands-on-throttle-and-stick interface. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Alesia Goosic)

With a re-engined and avionics-updated A-10D, of course!

Still, one has to see one in action to really appreciate it.

An A-11A?

(grin)

I love this plane. Captures the days and the seat of the pants flying of the WWII P-47 "Jug" and with jet engines to boot.

"after 2030"

Actually, before that. It'll be smart drones. UAVs controlled by your kid in an airconditioned office.

Don't trust anyone over 30. Except an A-10.

They added those to left of the boiler steam gauge and the whistle button.
