How soon before we are all carrying the Koran around and our women are subjected to covering their faces?

You can't possibly be serious.

As has been the case with Keith Ellison throughout his "career", he will be allowed to do as he pleases. He shall not be questioned.
Thank you, Minnesota's 5th congressional district.

Now that we've appeased them by making one of them a Congressman, I wonder if they will stop murdering our people?

How many politicians swear on the bible then proceed to lie?
Out of curiosity, what book did Joe Lieberman swear to? Is the boble the old testament or the new testament?

If Hizbolla issues a fatwa against the USA, demanding that all Muslims everywhere rise up against America and attack all things American, what will Ellison do?

Bad enough we have a follower of Louis Farrakhan as an elected leader, now he wants us to change tradition for him. Like someone else said, THANKS Minnesota...

Well, hopefully, Americans will take to the streets before that happens.

Looks' like to me that the first steps have already been taken. Democrats in charge, and a Muslim in Congress scare me spitless!

The same as everyone else. The Bible
To: Buck W.
The article states that even Jewish officials are sworn in with the Bible - Old & New Testaments. There have been no exceptions - until now.
To: DBrow
They already have, and what do you think?

"What book was Joe Lieberman sworn-in on?"
I think the same one Jack Kennedy and Bernie Sanders were sworn in on.
Let's ask Mitt Romney what book he would want, were he to be sworn to Federal office! This could be fun!

If a person takes an oath with their hand on a document that they don't believe in, what good is the oath?

If a person takes an oath with their hand on a document that they don't believe in, what good is the oath? That's the rules of the "club" they are joining. If they don't want to follow the rules - they don't have to join.
