So let's say the U.S. part of the enforcement plan in Iraq IS winding down...,
The Iraq army has proven their ability to control insurgents...,
Bush/Rumsfeld have already planned a controlled downsizing of troops...,
but now the Dims can say THEY made it happen. Sheesh.

I think a lot of the Dinosaurs in the Washington DC Political-Media complex are going to be shocked to discover that just like Fitzmus and the Bush National Guard story all their "unnamed sources" i.e Senator John McCain's office staffers, are talking out their butts. The Baker Clown Posse matter to the DC Old Boy's Club and no one else. I suspect the President is simply going to smile, pat them on the head and go back to ignoring the DC Noise Machine. What they all seem to forget is the Iraq Study Group is John McCain's pound of flesh for letting the 2005 Iraq War appropriation bill pass the US Senate. It is a Congressional, not a Presidential Commission.
Bush pretty much showed what is going on in his head when Gen. Abizaid came back from Iraq two weeks ago and all but told John McCain in the Senate Hearings he is a total idiot on Iraq.

I hope Rush plays some of the comments Rangel made on Sunday about the military, contradicting the detailed studies that prove him wrong.
His remarks were really outrageous, but that seems to be his goal.
