Has it ever crossed any of your minds that muslem arabs don't see that as a win win?
Has it ever crossed your mind that much of the Middle East is fed lies? It does happen.
And how secure would you feel when you have one political party of the USA calling the war a mistake for years? This now occuring AFTER we abandoned them in 1991 after pledging support if they rose up. I bet their trust in us is a little lacking. And now that political party has won some power back? Yea, I bet these things have NOTHING to do with what is happening over there. Bottom line, if both political parties could have dropped politics and displayed a united voice, Iraq may be settled down by now.

Wish Rush would tell us about his Thanksgiving family reunion.Me too. He said he has 46 folks there. Must have been great!
I mentioned on Thanksgiving that I had only 30 family members here, and some FReeper here found that rather difficult to imagine.
LOL.
I was feeling somewhat sorry for the little fellow. Maybe he had a small family or no family at all, or maybe he lived in a trailer with few accoutrements, unable to deal with thirty people as guests.
Oh well.

They have generations that despise America and the west for meddling in their affairs. That image don't wash away so easily....and to assume they will is just childish...and in this case ... deadly.

You can call it transplanting democracy. I call it giving them freedom and a working model of a government that has had some good success.
