What a jerk.
To: MizSterious
I'd like to punch him in his mouth and dare him to complain about it.

I'd like to see him go there and tell them eye to eye.

He also slammed the growing environmentally-conscious fad sweeping Britain, insisting green campaigners were "hippies with no place in the world". He's got this one right, though.
To: MizSterious
I agree with everything he says. This guy rocks!

Or get millions of Americans to stop using their big, stupid cars?". I'll give up my car if you give up your three mansions, private jet, limo service, yacht, most stage lights at your concerts, etc.

I recall when they were being hyped as the next "Beatles". These days, not many have even ever heard of Oasis.

Basically, in the long view, those troops are dying and suffering injuries to keep someone from punching the little jerk in the mouth. I guess he thinks civilization and civil liberties are things that just happen automatically.

I'll tell you where he's wrong. He says they're only fighting because they like to fight and kill. They are fighting because they are the ones who have volunteered to fight so that people, including cowardly jerks like this guy, can have a safe, comfy life back home. If you're on his side, something's wrong with you, too.

I think I might find it difficult to tell a feller who's just lost a leg on my behalf to quit complaining about it. But maybe that's just me...
To: mware
Yes I do. He said all they are worried about is getting compensation from the government. Sounds like a bunch of libs in the Brit army only signed up for the fringe benefits.

This guys mental problems have destroyed what could've been a fantastic career. They were compared to The Beatles early on, but getting in fist fights with your brother in the middle of live shows seems to hurt the performance a wee bit.

Anyone who is a fan of Oasis or has read interviews with either of the Gallaghers before this knows that this is just Noel being Noel.
The only thing that surprised me was that his comments were lacking all the f-bombs that he usually tosses around. Someone must have cleaned it up.

If our military only had people who liked getting shot we would have no defense. I might be going into law enforcement, but that does not mean I can't be "bothered" by getting shot.
