Every American that ever wins will be suspect to the French.

Stupid frogs. Can't win it legally huh, so you try to discredit the Americans who kick your butts year after year?

Hmmm... reminds me an awful lot of the NYSlimes. Print wrecklessly and then offer an apology a month later buried deep and below the fold.

"sample tested was number 994,474, while the actual number was 995,474, Le Monde said."

Lab in Landis case made 'administrative error' on 'B' sample Accidentally on purpose?

Based on the facts as presented, I never believed there was any reasonable explanation for the test results other than a lab screwup. You can't use testosterone like chugging a can of Jolt cola to get a "boost" one morning; you have to use it regularly and let it build up in your system for it to have an effect.
Furthermore, my understanding is that the leaders were tested every day, and it's not the kind of chemical that can appear one day and be gone the next. It would be like taking a breathalyzer every five minutes for an hour, and having a completely sober result on every test except the seventh, which showed that you were falling-down drunk. What is more likely: that you were completely sober, got wasted in five minutes, and then completely sobered up in the next five minutes, or that the seventh test was faulty?

This is why I am glad this process takes a long time. Floyd hasn't has his hearing in front of the USPro Cycling Board yet. If this whole process was media driven, we would have already had the trophy in Periero's hands and a crying Floyd at a TV press confrence like Milli Vanilli.

Landis: "I can't say that the lab is always a bad lab..." Fair enough Floyd. I'll say it.

Gosh, that is so inept. I don't ever recall seeing an incorrect medical record number in dozens of different facilities across this land. If the number was wrong, on say a blood sample, it would be tossed.
If the numbers are wrong, the sample should not be used. If there is no B Sample, there is no case. Landis should have it out next year with those innocents, Basso and Ullrich.

No wonder the Frogs came up with the lame hacker cover story to explain blatant corruption at this lab.

Wow. 'Administrative error'. Hmm. Well, hopefully this will work toward clearing Landis.
Nutmeg, have you seen this? The French acknowledging an error.

IT would be great if Landis was cleared, but then again, my gut feeling tells me he did it, for some reason, desparation?

have you seen this? The French acknowledging an error LOL - my French wife a couple of weeks ago said her boss (french) never apologizes, I guffawed and said, the French NEVER apologize because that would admit to making a mistake, which they would never do.
To: SF Republican
This is the same as when a Republican wins(they must have cheated)
To: Baynative
Great news. This has been a stand off. There was no way both parties could have been honest. Looks like we now see the truth.
Screw the french.

First computer hackers breached the lab. Now they admit to jumbling some numbers in the Landis case. Too bad those machines they used to dig the 'Chunnel' aren't around, they could sure use one, as they seem intent on digging a pretty deep hole.
