Allen may of may not have been a good governor ( I don't know all of the details concerning his tenure as governor ); however, he was a TERRIBLE campaigner this time around. He behaved like a damned political neophyte. He was inept and NO, it wasn't the garbage slung AT him, it was his own actions that did him in, I believe...that and Webb running far to his right.

You don't think that Hillary and her thugs threw EVERYTHING and the kitchen sink at Rudy, when he was running against her? Hell, his termagant of an estranged wife even "starred" in "THE VAGINA CHRONICLES", written by one of Hillary's "pals", when he began his run against her, to destroy him. He HANDLED it and handled it well, even though he had just found out that he had cancer!

And compared to Hillary's past, Rudy looks like the POPE!

I appreciate his talent, his mayoral record ( though I absolutely HATE his damned traffic guards/gates on Fifth Avenue! ), and of the known lot, he is the ONLY one I would vote for. "Like" doesn't enter into the picture...I never vote due to emotion.

I have close, personal friends who know him and/or work for him. They like him and they are CONSERVATIVE and trustworthy. But I am NOT basing any of what I write about Giuliani on that. I write facts, in order to refute the base, disgusting, specious lies that quite a few ill informed posters have been posting about Rudy for almost a year.
