According to your message in #202, trolls personally attack regular posters and try to show them in a bad light. By this definition, doesn't #206 seem rather trollish?
I don't hate or even dislike him, but I am angry with him over his support for Jerry Brown. This mystifies me, since other than supporting Proposition 13, the property tax limitation initiative, in 1978, there isn't anything remotely conservative about Brown. In fact, he seems to have moved even further to the left since he left the California statehouse. And the man he was running against was a solid conservative. As far as I know, Savage has never explained why he did this.
As for the hatred being expressed on this thread, most of it seems to be coming from Savage's partisans.
Nice spin.
It's not my gospel this thread is spreading, but rather the gospel of the great Wiener.
If this is true, then the poster in question shouldn't have acted the part of a foolish fish and swallowed the bait.
Until then infidels; W-I-E-N-E-R!!!
Marcus Tullius Cicero Quote
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within.
An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly.
But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through
all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor;
he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments,
he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation,
he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body
politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear."
I'm just pointing out his inconsistencies because I have tuned in to his show over the past 10+ years, he has been on the air in the SF area. It is still refreshing from the most liberal idiots we have around here, but I highlight an example of why some others might not like him. He is not the 'compassionate conservative' he claimed to be long before Bush2 started using that phrase.
Cicero was a brilliant man. It's no wonder why Savage refers to him often in regards to our current political structure.
Sounds like the Clintons.
I agree, he isn't a compassionate conservative which I think is a moronic term to begin with. And he does have inconsistencies which is one of his characteristics I find endearing and human. Listening to him work through them is half the fun.
Sort of like eaves dropping on a psychotherapy session.
"As for the hatred being expressed on this thread, most of it seems to be coming from Savage's partisans."
That is becoming plain to all.
And revealing.
Savage strikes me as tempermental, moody, and easily swayed, which may explain his inconsistencies--such as calling the GOP "warmongers" a few years after he demanded that we nuke the Middle East--and it might even explain the Brown contribution. However, this disposition probably adds to his appeal. No other political talk show host blows hot and cold so dramatically as he.
"If this is true, then the poster in question shouldn't have acted the part of a foolish fish and swallowed the bait."
He wasn't the brightest poster around.
"No other political talk show host blows hot and cold so dramatically as he."
Yep.
Have you noticed that not one of the Weiner People have disagreed with anything on The List?
You FRiend are a lying troll. One of your troll tendencies (strategy) as I have repeatedly pointed out is lying of which you and your followers are excellent at, I believe absolutely NOTHING you say and I encourage all others to be wary of your slithering posts.
No one knows of you personally how can they, and frankly I can't figure out why ANYONE would want to. As for name-calling you've been doing it here ever since you were born so pls don't lecture us about it. Thanks.
Ho-de-hum, hardy-har-har, move along folks, nothing to see here, just a little troll dung, we've all seen and heard it before, Ho-hum
Many of us have criticized your "list" several times since you started posting it many weeks ago. Apparently you've had your nose up Levin's and Limbaugh's ass each of those times to notice.
