"So is choosing not to have one."
And being prego, she has chosen not, to have one. ;-)

No-brainer, to me.
Pro-choice = Pro-abortion = Pro-murder.
Depending on one's viewpoint of where life begins, the "pro-murder" part could be argued with. On the other hand, the term "pro-choice" is a deceptive, "prettier" way of describing the viewpoints of people who are in favor of abortion.
I don't think it's incorrect to call "pro-choice" people "pro-abortion" - unless you're playing Clintonesque wordgames with definitions, and ignoring what the term actually means.
Personally, I've stopped watching F&F as well. I wouldn't blame this on Gretchen, however - in fact, I've stopped watching FNC entirely since the election.

Since the election, I have been watching TBN, The Hallmark channel and my vast supply of DVDs. I'll probably do that for the next 2 years. I refuse to watch the media gloat. Our cable company doesn't carry the Hallmark Channel. Do they have good shows?

And I'm sure her baby will thank her someday. Unlike the multitude of slaughtered ones who were never given much of a choice.

If I were doing the news, I would say pro-abortion or anti-abortion.
While no words are perfect, as those terms would be biased against the abortion side, it is fairer than saying pro-choice v. pro-life.
Both of those are very charged words.

I miss E.D. also. I don't watch FOX anymore I am finished with the news on TV. I don't even want to hear the news since the election. I discovered a show called "What Not to Wear" on TLC Friday nights. Also, the Travel channel has good traveling shows of Europe on Thursday nights.
To: Kaslin
I am disappointed that FNC just hired Paul Krugman as contributer NO! That can't be!
To: Kieri
Pro-abortion means you see abortion as a solution to something such as an inconvenient pregnancy, too many people of the wrong skin color; or a chance to acquire revenue.
Just about everybody who calls himself "pro choice" is pro abortion -- at least as it pertains to politics.
So what did Steve and Brian say?
To: Dr. Scarpetta
I watch reruns of Everybody loves Raymond and King of Queens. Also the Food Channel and History Channel and the Man Hating Lifetime Channel if desperate.

I watch reruns of Everybody loves Raymond and King of Queens. Also the Food Channel and History Channel and the Man Hating Lifetime Channel if desperate. The Lifetime Channel has too many women suffering, otherwise I watch everything you do. Plus, I like to see people buying houses on HGTV. A good relaxer is "Murder She Wrote." Anything to avoid the news right now...
To: Kieri
Gretchen Carlson went out of her way to correct Steve and Brian that the term "pro abortion" was actually "pro choice." They're not even the same thing. There ARE at least some people out there who are genuinely pro-choice, wrong as they are... but those who use the term in politics are almost always actually pro-abortion.

If I remember correctly, O'Reilly once had Krugman on and gave him a hard time.

The addition of Gretchen to Fox and Friends has been a train wreck. She just does not fit well with Steve and Brian. She seems like a nice woman but if they want to replace E.D. with a great personality, bring back Juliet Huddy.

Its easier to hide behind. They should call it what it is.

It's possible he had him on once. I just don't remember. Perhaps it was before our cable company added FNC in October 2000
