"...to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs.' "

WMDs in 1998? But I thought that was the big lie of the Bush Administration, which didn't start 'til 2000... So who was lying in 1998?

Maybe we could've used this prior to last Tuesday, although it probably wouldn't have helped anyway. This simply reinforces what we already know - that the 'rats speak out of both sides of their mouths.

Please check this document out from 1998 in light of Sen Levin's Iraq "plan" announced today

Agree, but if the DK faction gets their way and Pelosi et al bow to their wishes, it is something we can throw in their faces.

The Republicans put stuff like this in the "forget about it" file so as not to offend the rats. Unbelievable.

Big difference between being knowing it and having people like Hannity et al actually asking Senator Levin on National TV some day to explain his hypocrise vis his new "Cut and Run" plan unvelied today. Don't win wars by waving the white flag before the battle is even joined.

Amazing. Despite helping the Democrats win last Tuesday the Always Angry clique is still spending all their time shooting their own in the back.

I would not waste time on the Always Angry types. They simply do not know how to do anything but shoot their own side in the back. They are utterly useless to us. The best thing they could do for the Conservatives is go join the Democrat party and do to them what they have been doing to us for years

Thank you for posting this enlightening piece. It was signed by one of my senators...Feinstein. One of her campaign issues was withdrawl. I guess, she, like her fellows think that this Hokie Pokie.
Put your troops on in
Pull your troops on out
Put your troops on in
and then shake 'em all about
Do the hokie pokie
and now, turn yourself around.
That's what its all about!

"With respect to Iraq's history, the Security Council noted Iraq's threat during the Gulf War to use chemical weapons in violation of its treaty obligations, Iraq's prior use of chemical weapons, Iraq's use of ballistic missiles in unprovoked attacks, and reports that Iraq attempted to acquire materials for a nuclear weapons program contrary to its treaty obligations. "

Amazing!!

But ... but...I thought "Bush lied, and people died".

The audacity of these clowns. they are amazing, they lie so convincingly to the public they believe their own lies.

ROTFL. I just can't believe this...this is too much. WoW

good find, I'm going to print this out and show my liberal "friends". hehehehe

Thanks for bringing this back up. The current freshman crop of neo-CONS (neo=new, cons=con men) who are measuring the drapes for Congress will be coming into power after being elected to further conservative ideals. At the same time, the Pelosi/Murtha freak show will be dictating that all new troops must toe the line and vote with the San Freako family values to cut and run from Iraq.

You will never see evidence such as this dredged up by the MSM. They will continue to tapdance around the tune of "Bush lied" and claim a mandate to cut and run. Even the hOnOrAbLe JoHn Fn KeRrY had a bone to pick with Iraq while Bubba was in the WH, now suddenly "Bush lied" and that is that.

If the first amendment fails us, next up is the second.

But...but...this was only for use during a Democratic administration. We didn't really believe that America was in danger.

Why that would mean that any Republican president could come into office and go to war with Iraq.
