I DID hear her.. Of course I thought of my question.. ;)

I waited to hear the fine Dr give a scientific reason why time was in fact speeding up. But alas, he gave the same silly reason I've heard before. * sigh * ;)

Art Bell is great listening for night owls. Get out a bowl of popcorn and enjoy. :-)

I heard Art Bell, most often non-political, support the war in Iraq Saturday morning. OTOH, George Noory never misses any opportunity to bash the President.

Because of the demographics, Noory could sway a large part of our electorate. As I get by with only four hour's sleep every night, I listen every night, though 94.6% of it is unadulterated BS.

I wasn't surprised to hear a couple of nights ago that one of his guests had a "mail-order" PhD (in response to a question regarding his credentials). If you have a British accent, you don't even need a mail order degree to rate "Doctor" from either host.

As a scientist, I'd rate this nightly show as pure poison to the scientific community (and for five of those seven nights a week, to The Republic as well).

IMHO.

Art's answer was "somewhat funny" ............ when you're younger (three years old for instance) a year is one third of your life --- no wonder it seems like forever).....

;-)

Baloney...... the caller was right in her suspicions ............. they're screwing with the atomic clock!

;-)

Indeed, the moment is sufficient in itself. We cannot control the future or change the past - nor should we be obsessed with timelines per se.

I worked with a guy in the oilfields in Texas named Paul Free.

He had a daughter and a son, Fancy and Scott.

It's the truth, what a nut!

Of course their was a stripper (probably more then one named Candy Barr.)

I knew a girl also whose first name was Candi, and she changed her last name to Kanes.

Syncro, thanks for the heads up on this time travel thread.

Art, take a look at this.

We at the Institute fired up a couple of our machines, and managed to partially get back to the 1960's and posted to Free Republic.

Unfortunately the hem of my Lab Coat got caught in the Framdazzler of the ThymeTrubblertm and the post only got on the board in a partial state. Take a look, this is a screen capture from a little after 3:00 PM IOPSST today.

See the top post, 1969.

It is an actual screen capture, I did not alter it. Weird, isn't it?
