This lady needs to immediately be named leader of the republican party. In fact, she should run for president. She clearly has something the republican party is missing--a spine.

I read the complete letter. BRAVO! Someone who won't go kowtowing to them and won't put up with their outlandish crap.
If all the Republicans in Congress had shown this type of intestinal fortitude, there would be a lot fewer lame ducks today.

I have read a lot of politicians letters over the years, but I have never read one in which the politician took such a principled, forceful stand for what is right. All hail Brown-Waite, this woman deserves our respect and support.

in fact , two st pete times reporters were caught on tape by the FBI saying they would help kill or slant stories in favor of the convicted Hamas fund raiser and former USF prof . the tapes were played on Oreilly show .
the st pete is a hard left wing rag and they don't bother even hiding it.
read ms browne letter to cair . she should run for the senate in fl. she is a tough cookie.

Brown-Waite instead criticized Gov. Jeb Bush and the head of the Republican Party of Florida, both of whom last week demanded an apology As I have said all week long...
NO MORE BUSHES. EVER. PUT IT IN THE CONSTITUTION.
To: LSUfan
I am really starting to believe that the Bushes don't get it... "Starting"? The Arab-ass kissing didn't convince you? His elevation of Hamas spokesperson Condi Rice to SoS didn't convince you?
To: LSUfan
Great letter, thanks for posting it.
My feelings exactly.

What a great letter! She really gets it. As we watch for new, ballsy leadership in the Republican Party, I will nominate her for .... 2008? Something .... We could surely find a spot for her in California.

You're just now "starting to believe" that?
Wake up, folks. The Bushes are doing to our party what the Clintons have done to the Dems.

A wonderful letter. The simple title under her signature raised a red flag as to authenticity. So I poked around and found that she signs all her letters as "Member of Congress" No frills and to the point, good on her.
To: LSUfan
This is the kind of person we need in the GOP leadership.

If "it" means conservatism and America-first, they most definitely don't get it and have never had it.

"Mrs. Hogan expressed in her statements the views of many of my constituents, and while they do not encourage harmony in the community, they should demonstrate to you how many United States citizens perceive your faith," Brown-Waite wrote"
Good for her!! I hadn't heard about this.
