The offshore movement of jobs has continued under both dim and Repub administrations and congrsses. Business people are making financial decisions that drive some jobs offshore. I own a manufacturing plant. The only way for me to survive is to go after markets that cannot go overseas. If the unions succeeded in blocking offshoring, the world markets will simply punish the American companies and they will lose market share just like the euroweenies.

I personally think it totally sucks that you have to compete with some third world shit-hole company / sweatshop that pays their "employees" 55 cents a day.
Somewhere, at some point in time, something went amiss or astray. Things don't just "happen" in a vacuum. Someone somewhere made this situation into the way it now is. Do "we" run our manufacturing businesses like third world shit-heads? Or.. are we supposed to "wait" for two or three generations while those Commie crap countries get their working standards (and costs) up to "real world" levels. Why is it that YOUR business and those like yours here in the US be offered up as sacrificial lambs in the mean time.....?

"They" are business people and entrepreneurs worldwide. Everybody's scrambling to make a buck or gain market share. Governments have not had a big influence except where the commies opened up their markets to trade. For example, a friend of mine started importing after-market auto parts from Taiwan in the 1950's; he made over $100M at Detroit's expense. In the final analysis, we gotta compete; and I do. One time I beat out a Chicom prison camp that did the same work at $.30/hr by delivering faster and with 1/10 of their scrap rate. Its innovate, adapt, and overcome.

I own two small businesses. Both fortunately can not really be outsourced. No one is happier than me to hear that you hammered the Chicoms. Keep on Keepin on.

Just for the record, I've driven over three little crap box import cars since 1999. Those little things fold like tin cans.

Hispanics do not favor illegal immigration; to assume they do is bigoted. Correct.
The ones who are here legally are here because they want to be Americans, not Mexicans.
