Iraq = Bush

Pelosi will do everything in here power to make Pres Bush look bad and If making things worse in Iraq does that then let it be so.

The left and the MSM will never let the war in Iraq be called a success as long as Pres Bush started it.

Congress will not pull the military out of Iraq. Since this is the main reason they were given control of both Houses, the voting public will wonder why they bothered to vote in Ds, who will lose some of that shine and polish of victory immediately. All eyes are on Congress now.

I have often wondered if any really crazy antiwar people in America were giving information and advice to the insurgents in Iraq to raise the US body count as was done in Vietnam.

The liberal press :

"Hey! The US is taping your phone calls. "
"Hey! Pssst. The US is tracking your bank accounts."
"Keep bombing. They're starting to waver."
"Just a little while longer. We're wearing the Americans down. We will continue the anti-Republican reporting, and a democrat victory will be yours - guaranteed!"

He knew Americans would surrender.

It seems to me like one of the few places where people understand the threat of the terrorists is FR.

".....when they didn't get that they targeted the congress in the guise of "America" wanted a split party government but they only managed to pull it off by offering up a bunch of Blue Dog Democrats."

If ANYBODY thinks that those "Blue Dogs" are within light years of the conservative values they talked before the election once they get sworn, I've got some beachfront property in north central Montana to sell.

Ain't my fault that the ocean was there 60 million years ago.....

“The point is this isn’t a war to win, it’s a situation to solve. And you define ‘winning’ any way you want, but you must solve this problem.” -Pelosi

We weren't in Iraq on 9/11.
Clinton (D) didn't call the numerous attacks on his watch a war either.

He knew Americans would surrender.

They've been attacking us since the '90's. Bin Laden referred to us as yellow bellies because the democrats cowered. That's how we got 9/11.
It won't be the last attack. It was just a taste of what's to come now. The democrats are back in charge. It's the Clinton years all over again for the terrorists. It's play time.

I didn't believe it for a second but apparently enough fellow Americans did. It's not the first time this political switcharooski has been played and worked.

This is a larger war than just Iraq. It will be fought in NYC too. If American citizens die it is a part of war. We may think just our military will be fighting this but it won't be.

The sad part is for the left, even if we were being attacked ever day ,it would be because we made them mad, because we attacked Iraq and support the Jews.

The left is beyond reason, it's the 10% in the middle that need to be brought over to the right side. This takes leader ship and focus. We had none of that in the last election. Vote for us were not totally crazy is not leadership.

That's why I brought up what Gaffney said. He predicted what you said.

He needs to be on more talk shows.

I honestly believed that when Rumsfeld stepped down it was because the President thought he would become a distraction with an all Democratic congress. They would rant and rave until he stepped down and so he was doing the best thing he thought for the country to move forward.

Well his talk took that away. Did the President think loyality would see him through the election? Was it fake loyality since he dumped him two days later?

I just don't get it.

One of the last things Rumsfeld should do as SECDEF is take a trip to Iraq.

There will be a third war in Iraq some day if we do not win this one "today".

The sad reality, no matter what the President does, short of TOTAL PACIFICATION of IRAQ and both Syria & Iran, is that this will be considered another US defeat.

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck & quacks like a duck, it will be perceived as a duck!

The POTUS has two years to turn this around, I pray he does, but in all honesty, I don't think he has much of a chance!!
