America has just committed suicide

well we certainly turned the Middle East over to Iran. So much for Israel's survival.

It wouldn't matter if he solved all the problems in the world and there was peace everywhere.
He's part of the Bush admin so he is EVIL.

Quote: "By voting in Dems America has just committed suicide."

I believe that the voters are never wrong. If we lost the election, it is our fault, not theirs. But, we lost and I am pretty certain it wasn't the worst defeat or the first defeat. Time to dust ourselves off and fight anew.

Bolton can be recessed appointed and get paid IF he also assumes another position in the Administration. Double-duty.

I think the whole reason we lost so much is because Bush had no pr plan to win anything.
So the dims in their greed for power pulled out all the stops and went total negative/destruction. With no counter offense it looked to the world like Bush was too weak to hold any position or accomplish anything and it was so.

I remember clinton was out there everyday pushing his way. Whether he was lying outright or subtly he was out there leaving little room for any other position.

Bush gave the dims all the room they wanted and of course they took everything.

He thought that if he was civil with them they would be too. Wrong. The dims are like the islamo terorists. They only take and slaughter. Nice is not in their vocabulary.

Just as you cannot reason with a rabid dog you cannot reason with the dims.

"Wow, this punishment of Republicans is really working like a dream!"

I've seen your comment on a couple of threads and completely agree! I fear it will need to be used frequently.

At this point I am all for using anything and everything to get our way.
What we want is best for the country. What the dims want is best for them.

"The Dems will now disassemble every single thing Bush ever did , even if it hurts the US. This is bad , real bad."

The 2006 midterm elections will be responsible for major damage to the U.S. for generations to come. We can thank the media indoctrinated public for their stupidity. This "punishing" of the Administration because they could not take care of Iraq before the elections is total mindlessness.

Why don't they confirm him during the lame duck session? Anyway, we see the obstructionism that we can expect from this Senate. Thanks conservatives who stayed home rather than voting!

Bolton has acquitted himself well at the UN. His more honest critics even conceed that. There is no reason not to confirm him other than as a raw exercise of power by the twin assholes Reid and Biden.

Pay back is a bitch. We should tell them to wave bye-bye to their minimum wage increase as a result of deep sixing Bolton, that it will be vetoed. But we won't. We're expected to be gracious losers while Democrats can act as shitty as they want and the media will let them get away with it because they actually believe they have a mandate.

He would have been confirmed a couple months ago but for Chafee. Thanks, Link. Enjoy your retirement.

One never becomes successful after a defeat by suggesting that the public is stupid or other forces are responsible. If we did not prevail in this election cycle it was because we failed to deliver the goods. Bottom line. End of story.
