The ad accused Harold Ford of partying with Playboy Playmates, among other things.

Actress, not actor.

I must have seen that ad fifteen times before the MSM started attacking it, and it wasn't until the MSM attacks began that the whole "black-man-white-woman" thing ever even entered my mind. The only racists on this point are on the left.

And apparently Ford Jr. dates white women? So where is the racism? Coming from the left, of course... as always.
To: SmithL
" They said it played into racial fears of a black man dating a white woman. " That was always a ridiculous allegation, pure spinning crap! The ad exposed party playboy Harold Ford as a religious hypocrit, a man who used Jesus for political gain, and filmed commercials inside churches, but wink wink, tried to hide his night life from Tennessee family values voters. Oh and by the way, now that Harold's campaign is over, let's see if he introduces us to his fiance, as he promised he would do back last summer.

How can the ad be racist, when Ford is whiter than she is?
To: Dont Mention the War
It was not racist, but you have to remember that you cannot attack a black Democrat or you're automatically racist.

"Johanna Goldsmith, an Austin, Texas, actor ..... "
God blessed Texas....

Of the few bright points on an otherwise bleak night, I take great satisfaction in the loss of Harold Ford, Jr.

I still don't get it. Even had Corker's campaign been responsible for the ad, what was racist? The ad
(as I interpretted it) was playing off the fact that Ford is a young, good-looking guy
(supporting that, another girl alludes to his looks in the ad.) who has a "playboy" image and is attractive across the race spectrum. Of course, the kicker is that, despite the positive image, he's dumb as a box of rocks.
And the last I checked, dumb doesn't care what color you are. If anything, the ad is critical of stupid liberal-democrat women who vote on a candidates looks and not their stance on issues.
