Talk about the "darling of the MSM"....I kept wondering why they wouldn't just call the race in Tennessee last night, and I literally think they couldn't bring themselves to do it.

It's almost a consolation that he was the one who didn't succeed. He is Bill Clinton all over again, and I hope this isn't his only defeat in politics.
I guess nobody on the left can entertain the possibility that it was his association with Playboy that voters found offensive...not the race of the women with whom he may or may not have been "gettin' it on".
He lost. Hopefully, he'll run for mayor of Memphis against King Willie in 2010.
I've been boycotting the MSM since the Dems won the house. I ain't in the mood to sit in front of the TV watching biased journalists pretend to me to be unbiased as they sit their wide grinned and gloating.
I don't know. I could hardly hold that against him if he had. Political beats can be tough, especially when you've been campaigning for a week without sleep.
I don't agree with his views, but I sympathize with what he's going through. Anybody who's ever dedicated months at a time to campaigning only to come up just a tad short can't help but be a little sympathetic.
He's not as bad as Bill Clinton. He's one of six dems who voted for Bush's tax cuts. He's not bad as far as dems go. But he had his eye on the WH and needed to be defeated now. But I would like to see more dems like him. It would be a better party and better for the country.
I wonder if someone on on the MSM is going to declare that the American People threw another "temper tantrum"?

I agree. As far as democrats go, Harold Ford, Jr. is a good one. I wish more in his party were like him.
I know I'd rather have Ford as my senator than Obama.
