Cardin: "Gov-elect Martin O'Malley! We did it! We did it in Maryland!" (Really, Mr. Cardin?? You are TRAILING now. Learn from Kerry's exit-poll victory in 2004.)
Steele leading Cardin 50-48 by 21,000 (44%)
Ehrlich leading O'Malley 52-48 by 35,000 (44%).
FNC gave Cardin the check mark hours ago.
I guess they are using exit polls.
What about the absentee ballots? I think they'll put Steele over the top.
They aren't supposed to start counting absentee ballots until Thursday I believe. 190,000 + of them out there.

Exactly. That's a state law in Maryland....why, I don't know.
With 853 of 1793 Precincts Reporting (11:19)
Steele 50%
Cardin 48%
THANK YOU for that inofrmation.
Steele can still win this!!!
Steele 51%
Cardin 47%

I hope too, but it looks like most of the remaining precincts are heavily dem. Ehrlich may hold on, but it will be tough for Steele. It isn't over though, but it is looking tough.
LOL! We'll have to agree to disagree.
I agree. The G.O.P is going to "polite" the party to death. They clearly have forgotten the lessons of history. The demonocrats are the ultimate in Machiavellian politics and the G.O.P. will regret treating them with so much dignity.
The Black vote is the odd factor. We don't know what it will do.
Damn. Feel bad for Mike, he ran a clean campaign and I thought his message was great. Considering the effort that the Baltimore Sun and Washington Post did to scuttle his campaign, his effort was valiant.
Not looking good here either.
We've lost the Senate, too.
I really hate voters right now. The people of this country are too stupid to vote for the most part.
I swear, the only people that should be allowed to vote are property owners.
Well I'm not a property owner either.
Buy some!
I'd like to.
But here in Ohio, I'll be lucky to be employed after tonight's results, and in every other state I've looked at, I'm priced out of the property market.
All the later results seem to be breaking the wrong way - oh well
I'm not understanding why that sh*thead OMalley is pulling away in the governors race. Baltimore is having its worst crime rates in years, why the hell do the voters want this guy as governor?
