I missed KS-2 and MN-1 which are shockers, but the Pubbie won NY-29. So subtract one.
Their New York polling definitely needs some jiggering though.....
I didn't count NY-29 - just NY-19, NY-20, and NY-24. You know Sue Kelly lost right?
Very true, but then again they have a lot of explaining to do about Western NY. :)
Their Ohio polling too leaves something to be desired..
It looks like Simmons is very much up in the air, although Waterford is hardly a GOP area, but I think Gerlach pulls it out, which is another shocker.
Well guys, I am going to bed, and I will pray that somehow this goes in Allen's favor and we keep the senate. I hope he has a hell of alot of absentees left to count.
NV-03 goes to Porter and Wilson jumps to an 1171 vote lead with 99% precincts reported. If Wilson pulls this one out I think the Dems will finally give it up!
Simmons is almost certainly toast. The only township that hasn't reported is Waterford. It will go Courtney.
Well Kerry carried it by only 15%. Not that impressive really.
No, I didn't.
Quite a number of Dem upsets, not on the radar screen. Amazing. It was sort of the idiosyncratic wave, that broke in odd places.
In 2002 Courtney lost Waterford by 4% and from what I can tell he's increased his margin by at least that much in all but two townships, where he increased 3%, and in many cases by much more. Simmons has a chance I guess but it's very, very slim.
Absent idiosyncrasies yes. Maybe CNN will do another Kenton County. :)
If my math is correct, then if the remainder of Chester County votes like the part that's already voted then Gerlach will gain 6116 votes on Murphy to win by 4296 votes, so yes, I agree it's very plausible he pulls through.
Have y'all noticed that Burns is steadily gaining on Tester? Interesting. Time to go look at that one more carefully.
Kelly goes down, Ryun goes down, and Gerlach survives. Amazing.
It just is not there. I keep looking at it. Tester's margin is likely to increase. Much of Silver Bow is out, much of Flathead is now in, and there is not much other GOP territory out.
