But not at the expense of our troops and our country. If it wasn't for thr WOT, I would say good enough for them but there is just too much at stake. I noticed the only losers were the good guys. The RINO's held on. Except for Chafee.

You say we are "purging" RINOS here?

How in the he// is that! When they've been replaced by radical leftist idiot Democrats!

Thegun toting hill people up my way and the sub builders pull Simmons through. That's my take on the county by county comparison of 2006 and 2004. Simmons losing 3 -4 points pretty much across the board but that's not enough for Courtney to win the seat. That's my take after a quick look and doing the numbers in my noggin.

We are indeed purging RINOS as it were.

That doesn't explain Michigan. Although I and some others aren't morons (hi mcshot), there are large groups of the public that are just clueless dumbasses or actively desire socialism and ineptitude.

NB-2 is Lancaster dominated. The Pubbie will win. I have no idea about NB-3. A zillion counties, and too little time. In NB-1, the Pubbie is in deep trouble, unless the Omaha precincts that are in are Dem ones.

Mike Sodrel from Indiana was no RINO!

Did not say they all were. But, it is clear that we are getting popped on the nose, and may be able to learn a lesson from this. AGAIN, I STILL SAY THAT THE SENATE IS KEY! We must preserve the upcoming SCOTUS nomination. Replacing a lib gavel with an Alito or a Roberts would be far more important than minority status for the house a couple of years.

BTW -- looks like we will pick up both GA seats.

The FBI has been called into Indy for absentee ballots (above post). If ACORN (left wing Soros group) can try to pull off 15,000 fake votes in Missouri, they will try in other states, too.15,000 fake votes for democrats is a lot of fake votes. They could make or break an election.

We have to get at least 60% of the vote to make up for the diwit fraud.

Well folks, I'm off to bed. I hope to wake up GOP majorities, no matter how slim, in both houses. I fear for the House, not the Senate, but the evening still has to play out in other states.

ANother note of encouragement...the South is steadfast. We all know that you cannot win the presidency without winning SOME southern states. The Western Midwest (excluding MN)should also stay red. Florida seems to be saving the R's butt. This will soon have the highest electoral votes on the eastern seaboard. A total control of the South, plus a steady midwest will keep us well in any national constitutional officer race.

I'm thinking Simmons 50.3 -49.7 Very close though. One big town swings enough could turn those numbers around. We'll see.

What we need to do is lobby our congressmen to come up with a voting card that only works one time, then do the purple finger thing that they do in Iraq. Ink that won 't wash off for at least 24 hours and no early voting.

Purging RINO's and electing Democrats in states where Conservatives find it very hard to win is just foolish. RINO's vote for Conservative leadership. Of course, there are not going to be so many Conservatives and every seat we are losing right now will be tough ones to reclaim.

How do we regain the seats near the big cities? In Indiana, Pennsylvania, some of the New England seats which helped us hold on year after year. Just which seat where we lose RINO's do we regain?

Maybe you have some insight on this?

Yeh. There's 850 Feds watching the vote today. No doubt they're also taking a good look at the absentees now, too - I hope.
