His ad spots were incredible. Showed lots of humor, humility and unabashed conservativism.
Hopefully Steele continues that style when he gets his seat.

Great news!
I saw him on Fox News Sunday & was very impressed by him.

It's not just your state.
In any state if a Repub gets 20% of the black vote, that's HUGE.
The other poster doesn't know what he/she is talking about.
To: dmz
I think that's true anywhere, frankly. It's very, very monolithic, as they say.

Steele will get much more than 20% of the black vote, mark my words. Yes. I imagine some folks are more comfortable punching the ballot for Steele in the privacy of the voting booth than admitting voting GOP to a pollster, or to their peers.
To: freedomdefender
Yay. He could be the new representative of the African American base. He can show them they don't need the democrat politicians and their government cheese.
To: freedomdefender
I voted for Steele @ 10am this morning in PG county.
I only spoke to 1 person, an older black women behind me in line with I slight accent. She said she had just recently in the past few years became a citizen and she was proud of Michael and wanted to see him win.
I agreed and said I was voting the same way.
Go Michael!

I love it I love it. What is going on is more true to reality. Black folks who are middle class and above have more of a vested interest in conservative principles and policy (not necessarily Republican, but definitely conservative). The welfare/nanny state has nothing to offer them. Hopefully Michael Steele as senator can offer them that.

That's very encouraging.
Finally, the people of Maryland have a real choice, and they are taking advantage of that fact!

Remember what they did to Ellen Saubrey by manufacturing 5000 votes from Baltimore at the last minute. They have no shame. Remember, it is illegal to ask a potential voter for their ID in MD\.
To: freedomdefender
No one take anything for granted. Vote.
And, btw, it won't shock me if Steele gets more then 35% of the black vote.

I was so touched by his sister's ad referencing her own health issue and how she knew her brother cared about a cure.

How sad that black Americans don't see that any republican is more invested in their best interests than any democrat.
