TODAY'S PRAYER:

Almighty God, to whom we must account for all our powers and priviliges: Guide the people of the United States in the election of officials and representatives; that, by faithful administration and wise laws, the rights of all may be protected and our nation be enabled to fulfill your purposes; through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN.

A very special prayer today for Katrine Harris, JulieRNR21 and Richard is hereby delivered!!!

Just to automatronish (spell checker will love that one!) for my liking.

Hmmm. Is anyone missing from the "Hall of Presidents" in Orlando Mouseland?

Thanks for checking in and providing a local update.

If I can keep a conference call to a minimum, I should be able to join Katherine Harris for a sign waving this afternoon.

I voted in Ormond Beach FL, at 11:55am today. This was my first time voting in a new precinct since 1980.

My precinct # now is #512. I was the 255th voter # on the screen where you insert the filled out ballots.

I was asked to show PHOTO ID, and my address on the voter roll was matched against my FL DL.

I jokingly asked the woman who was checking ID's (with some 20-something "metrosexual" seated behind her watching her and my every move):

"Ya'll sayin' I can't use me a COPY of my "light bill" for ID no more??"

The lady laughingly replied:"No!!...not any more!!"

Glaringly locking eyes, directly into the face of the highly probable dem metrosexual I loudly replied:

"Well it's about darn time. I'm fed up with all the liberal vote fraud !!"

I then made HIM look away FIRST, and the lady glowingly handed me my ballot to vote with, and winked as she told me to use any of the open 5 booths to mark my ballot.

I hope Harris wins, just to P.O. the RNC for NOT getting behind her in her senate bid. Schumer should have had to spend MILLIONS to counter her run, which would have made it harder to spend money on the other "Schumer picks" like Webb in VA.

I can't stand Crist, who I have labeled a "George Hamilton clone, just swich the sexual preference", but I voted for him anyway, and I hope that his "petti-coattails" help Harris to victory.

Sorry for the rant....

I send contributions directly to candidates who are explicitly pro-gun. It would make me ill to think that even a dime of my money was being spent on a candidate who was weak on the right to keep and bear arms.

"Nelson does have a rather alien look"

I think it's because he's had some kind of work done around the eyes.

Why don't you ask them why it is not more important to "like" the way a candidate will legislate rather than whether the candidate is likeable. If they aren't interested in the legislative results, why do they bother voting? Do they think it is some kind of national popularity contest?

Your mother may be hopeless, but your niece, if she claims to be a Republican, needs to consider how important it is to have Bush appointing the proper people to the Supreme Court, and that it is necessary for the Senate to do their part in this. Does your Republican niece believe that Nelson will approve the right nominees to the Supreme Court?

It is just like the MSM to make a big deal out of President Bush not inviting Katherine Harris to sit up on the stage with him the day before the election. I am sure it was just some over sight by the President's staff.

Katherine Harris will soon be standing with the President when she is in the US Senate.

Thanks for asking WT. I did all of what you asked but they wouldn't budge, especially the kid. Even watched the debate with Harris/Nelson with mom and she remarked how "educated and smart" she seemed.

The niece wouldn't even talk to me as I asked her to persuade me to vote against Katherine, as I'm all about facts and we could discuss and decide together. She said something to the effect of "la, la, la, I can't hear you, my mind is made up, la, la la." I ended with, "hey, if you want Speaker of the House Pelosi to be a heartbeat away from being your President you've got problems." I really tried to be level-headed and reasonable, to no avail. I recently read where the astronauts that took that empty suit Bill Nelson into orbit on the Shuttle called him "Astronaut Ballast"!! Ha!

On a final note: My 93 year old, life-long Dem and Union man grandfather voted absentee ballot from FL for Rick Santorum and he and mom said neither would ever consider voting for Hillary Rodham. So there is Hope!
