I'm sure this is all just a coincidence that this story is running the same time there are serious ethical concerns about the Missouri embryonic stem cell/cloning amendment on the ballot today.
These MSM guys make me want to puke.

One fact that liberals often ignore is that lesbians were not persecuted under Hitler -- they were, however, expected to have children and did use the SS stud farms for that end.

I saw this exact picture the other day and it explained that these people were the children of murdered jews taken from their parents and given to German parents, they were chosen because they had aryan features. Makes me wonder if the media ever gets stories wrong. /s/

There are thousands of these stories in Europe, these are just a few of them. How many children of their generation were children of women who were raped on both sides of the eastern front? How many found themselves as orphans after the bombings? They were the unfortunate residue of a long war.

For the editors of the New York Times, it is always the height of the New Deal, and the enemy is always the Nazis, even as many decades have passed and circumstances have changed and great new dangers have arisen which demand the most serious attention of our opinion leaders. Yet the Times, like the aging movie star in "Sunset Boulevard," refuses to face the reality of the present and prefers to wallow in the glories of her fights from long ago.

Thanks for the ping. An interesting article but I've always wondered about other WW2 babies: the products of rapes by Red Army soldiers. There must be thousands still living.
