Don't forget Pappy Boyington's statue getting kicked off of some campus, too.

Hopefully more will notice this Don't count on it. But rest assured, we'll be inundated with dire stories of "voter intimidation" if anyone so much as asks for a valid driver's license for ID.

Are you questioning their patriotism? They don't have any so there is nothing to question.

The Dems don't support anything, unless they have a hand in it. They're totally untrustworthy as far as the rest of the nation is concerned.
To: george76
We know how DUmocrats feel about the troops. Their supporters let us know all the time....
We also know that 9-11 to a DUmocrat is just another day....

The Dems don't support anything, unless they have a hand in it. Even then they have a tendency to back off when the going gets rough.
Even Clinton removed his hands when Monicagate became an issue.

Michael Burkett should immediately resign and appologize, and the Burkett sons should get five years cleaning latrines at a Marine basic training facility.

This is an enlightened look to the past

72% of military supported President Bush. There is one place where Republicans are going to get a boost and that is from emailed and faxed votes. No one is talking about the Military vote except the one weasel from NJ Rush Holt who was clearly trying to intimidate military officials into making the process more difficult. They have no shame.

State Senator Burkett is a Democrat.
Look, if Burkett's sons were arrested doing some non-political act of vandalism, I could chalk it up to youthful stupidity. (There's a lot of that.)
If this were a political act of vandalism taken against Republican campaign signs, I wouldn't be happy, but you know, people get carried away at the end of a campaign.
But knocking over flags memorializing our fallen soldiers?
This is moonbattery of the highest order--completely ineffective at changing policy, but rich in symbolism.
Maybe Burkett is part of the adult supervision wing of the Democratic Party--but like Larry Grant and his moonbat son Ron, you have to wonder how much of this irrational hatred of the United States was learned at the dinner table.

Senator Burkett says he thinks his sons are innocent, while the boys mother, Sharon Burkett, says the entire event was a misunderstanding.
Another joke ? : a misunderstanding.
