Bingo. Weekend polling normally hurts the GOP, and is not a true reflection on the real poll on Tuesday. Also, I have caller ID and if I don't recognize the call, I don't answer the phone.

All of this made possible by John Carry.

I remember that 1994 election. We had such high hopes for Pataki. I also remember sitting at a bar on the Upper East side until closing (4 a.m.), watching the returns with a slew of fellow campaign workers -- our candidate for Congress lost, and we had no idea how wonderful the night would end up being. When we learned at around midnight that Tom Foley had lost his seat, there was great rejoicing.

Don't just vote and go. In the days after the election contact the winners and give them your opinion. Even if your candidates don't win your are still a constituent of those who do win.

Also in 1994, no poll had Dennis Vacco beating Karen Burstein for attorney general and a poll on election day had Burstein winning by 22 points. Vacco won the election.

Call any Republican that lost and tell them to either find a real job or if they wish to run again "dance with who brung ya"
I miss Ronald Reagan, I miss the vision, leadership, a positive attitude, Love of Country, Love of Neighbor and the way he spoke...
His sense of humor would have a Field Day with the last two weeks of MSM mayhem.
I miss Ronald Reagan

I miss Ronald Reagan People could point RR and say there goes America. Every Republican who runs for office should be required to take a course in Ronald Reagan(How to walk the walk, talk the talk) 101.
Also, couple of seminars on the Philosophy of Barry Goldwater couldn't hurt.

John ("I apologized to NO ONE, before I apologized to EVERYONE") Kerry DEFINITELY got this ball rolling...Man, he must definitely be crying in his martini today. The thought that he's at home, fuming and steaming that the Republicans got him again definitely makes me so, so very happy!

'Nearly 20 percent of independents told Pew that the joke raised doubts in their minds about voting Democratic (versus 36 percent of Republicans and 5 percent of Dems)--a disastrously high number.
