True enough. He issued 66 in a short space. I'm not sure what kinds of things he vetoed though.

This isn't one of those fingerprint cards in case of kidnapping. This is so the kids can quickly 'buy' their 'free' school lunches!

Her "Six in '06" platform includes increasing the federal minimum wage, rolling back subsidies to oil companies, expanding stem cell research and cutting interest on student loans.

Now thats an agenda that will get undecided voters excited! (Did she just come up with 6 in 06 slogan yesterday?)

Read it on a post FReerepublic I think from the Waterbury Ct newspaper that he had mentioned he may caucus with Republicans. I can't stand Lieberman on anything except his stance on the war. That is why this is so hard for alot of conservatives.

Well, I guess I agree, save the gullible pubbies part. I think R voters know what they're getting, if they choose to vote for Lieberman. I do think he just might be savvy enough to factor those voters in, later, but that's just my hunch. I haven't forgotten Sore/Loserman, but the voters are faced with what they're faced with.

Hello, Hostess! Thanks for the ping!

I gotta ask: IF the Dems take the House or Senate, do you even think they'll give Republicans a shot at that "power sharing" deal that they got when Bush came into office? No, I don't think they will, either. I don't know why Capitol Hill Republicans ever tried that in the first place. ...Or am I remembering that all wrong???

If you want my opinion? Why not, I'll give it to the chorus. The public schools have been taken over by socialism. They want to #1, first and foremost, teach kids how to shut up and do as they're told. The fact that it includes giving up permanent-lifelong-databasable data is gravy. Keep in mind I'm a homeschooling mom, so ..there you go.
