The first 'facts' in this story appear in post 65. If Onyx had bothered to find out what was going on before hitting "post", then this thread would have had more credibility from the onset.
As it is, I'm not going to get too stirred up over a military-bashing thread where the original source is a poster who signed up a month before the election.

The thread and the bashing was about those who would deliberately or by negligence deny the military their right to vote.
Cheers.

The thread and the bashing was about those who would deliberately or by negligence deny the military their right to vote. You are correct. I have re-read the original post, and it is the Republican administration, and not the military, that is being bashed two days before the elections.
The post specifically blames "our government" in paragraph 4. "Why won't our government let our Military vote?".
When the source of that comment has a sign up date of Oct 6, 2006, and the government in question is controlled by Republicans, I'm going to at least consider that a democrat troll might be behind it.
If you want to accept the original post at face value, then you are probably more trusting and less cynical than I.

Sort of a self-centered rant here...Gitmo is upset so we all should be. Gitmo knows the facts of this but won't share them---it's sufficient that the sailor is outraged.
Talk about blowing your wad, sailor!

"Is it not outrageous that our MILITARY gets such casual treatment?"
Oh please...taking responsibility to vote is the key...I've never needed Military resources to ensure I registered and received my absentee ballots...

Scumbag Democrat Rush Holt put out a pressrelease hoping to scare away military voters from the DOD email system claiming it posed a risk of identity theft to military members.
I called Holt's office and they admitted that they can't quantify the risk.

Sir,
I'm approaching the end of my lengthy Air Force career. I've never seen an Air Force unit without an established voting officer. As a military member stationed overseas her voting officer should have easily been able to assist her in registering in her home state and casting an absentee ballot.
Did you ask her if she tried?
