The most effective ad against Ford, in my opinion, is the one being run showing that he is not a Tennessean, and has never been a Tennessean. Born and raised in DC, went to an Ivy League school, has lived in DC, and has been a professional politician his entire life.

Just like little Lord Albert Gore!!!

I'm not hugely worried about Talent. The race is so close, that if the micro-targing program Karl Rove put in place works anywhere, it'll be in Missouri.

The results show that a lot of Republicans are coming home to Corker, and I can buy that, but this kind of surge in this short a time doesn't add up."

The academics just don't get it because if they did, they would have no dissertation material.

GOP voters hang up the phone on pollsters more often than Dems. Period. The hangup ratio is 2:1 until the election nears. Then that ratio collapses.

No one has changed their minds. The GOP has not "come home to Corker". It never left. The polls didn't measure them and because of that there is NOTHING for the academics to analyze until 48 hrs before an election -- and by then it is entirely obvious and needs no analysis.

These guys need to find honest work. Polling analysis earlier than a week before election day is worthless.

Ford condemned the poll, but did he call it racist?

Despite the MSM spin on the polls Ford is toast, he ran a terrible campaign and committed a series of gaffes especially trying to bully a Corker press meet, playing the race card when it was obvious there was no racism and inviting Clinton to campaign for him. Corker would be winning comfortably this senate election.

But, We know all about Tenn. Ernie ten miles from where I grew up. Ford lived in Friedly Hills/Whittier, Calif.
