May I suggest you join me in copying one or both of the following and emailing them to absolutely everyone you can -- and ask them to do the same :

http://freedomkeys.com/2003taxcuts1.htm

http://freedomkeys.com/demsondefense-excerpts.htm

Also, be creative: find the email addresses of the officers, staff and members of various clubs and Chambers of Commerce in the towns around you and the areas you're most concerned about.

Why is this race so close to begin with?

What the hell are they thinking in VA?

Are the demographics changing that much? that quickly?

The only good thing to come out of this race is that the word "macaca" has entered the political lexicon.

The "macaca moment". Priceless.

Allen clearly was fumbling for something to call the guy without using any really bad words in front of a bumch of Christians and 'macaca' was the only thing that popped into his head. The whole thing was an obvious setup.

The network news starting every newscast with carnage among civilians in Iraq on the days they can't find any military causualties among the 145,000 service personnel stationed there.

I've noticed that, too. They don't talk about all the good things that are going on over there, and they don't talk about the stakes if we leave Iraq. One of the many reasons I quit watching the dinosaur media news.

I don't live in Virginia, but I wish I did so I could vote for Allen! You don't need reasons to vote for this outstanding American..he is a leader and America screams for men such as this. What happened was the DNC and their target was to stop him first and formost because he indeed could be one to run for the White House against their only candidate in 08, Hillary. He would beat her hands down and they couldn't afford to let that happen, thus they attempted to tarnish Allen early...with nothing but crap. Lets hope he can throw it off....VOTE folks, VOTE!!

It's not that close. Allen will win. They were saying the same things about Warner last time he ran.

Why is this race so close to begin with?

I think there are two reasons. The first is obvious: the unprecedented smear campaign against George Allen. Sure he had some missteps, but Webb is not without blemishes. The MSM has ignored Webb's or mentioned them in passing and trumpeted Allen's night and day.

The second has not been so obvious for some reason, but it is obvious to me. Webb is an unusual candidate in that he has great appeal to two totally different constituencies: the liberal Peoples Republic of Northern Virginia (where he lives) and the vote-rich military area around Norfolk (largest Naval Station in the world I think--and he's a former Navy secretary).

I don't know enough about Virginia politics to know if they have ever had a candidate like that. I imagine it could be the decisive factor.

For those of you in Virginia, God bless you for your support of Allen. Virginia, Montana, Maryland, Missouri, Tennessee are all crucial this year. hopefully everyone gets out and votes and the Senate and the nation is saved.

Yes. Northern Virginia is not only teeming with native born liberals, but is literally bursting at the seams with more and more and more foreigners who come from nanny-state or authoratative cultures. They want to bring their cultures here and inpose them on us.

There was a time when there was a discernable difference between NoVa and Maryland. Not any more.

I'm glad Lee, Jackson, Stuart, Mosby, etc. can't see the sissy boy liberals that now inhabit Northern Virginia.

The RATS have never really liked Webb. He was their sacrificial lamb so that they could bring out all their smear campaign to derail Allen for 2008.

Unfortunately, Allen helped them out with the macaca incident. There's no question about that. And they tasted blood and suddenly Jim Webb is Mr. Wonderful.

But that incident should have been over when he apologized. With a RAT it would have been. Instead you have The Washington Post writing over 200 articles on the word and less than a dozen about Allen's accomplishments as Governor and Senator.

And they have virtually ignored Webb's past which has documented racism, sexism and anger issues, among other things. He's flip-flopped more often that John Kerry.

Quite frankly, with all the crap they've flung at him (and continue to fling) it's amazing that Allen is still standing at all. But that's a testimony to who he really is.

My hope and prayer is that the people of Virginia realize that come Tuesday.

This is all about turnout now.

I live here in Northern, Virginia. I am bringing in 3 new voters to the polls Tuesday. However, if you visit 7/11 you will see many other "new" voters.

The RATS have never really liked Webb.

Of course. He worked for Reagan! Until this year, he was contemptuous of Hollywood liberals, Clinton, and Kerry. The only reason he has been embraced is because he is useful. They are mutually using each other.

Instead you have The Washington Post writing over 200 articles on the word and less than a dozen about Allen's accomplishments as Governor and Senator.

There were that many?

If you're talking about Washington Post "macaca" stories, yes, it's that many.

I don't have the current count, but as of September 30, it was 156 to 1.

Have you gotten some data that supports the race not being so close? Just interested. I live in Richmond and literally can't sleep at night thinking of the possibility of Webb as Senator.

I can give you that data on Tuesday evening. :-)

Until then, I can only go on faith as well as historical evidence that all polls are slanted to the left.
