No way! Joe Wilson VERIFIED that Saddam wasn't looking for Yellowcake. I mean he and Valerie Plame PROVED it. How could this be possible?

I'd give AQ Khan and his private Nuclear network more credit for any Iranian bomb than I would Bill Clinton.

Clinton...!! I'm not surprised that he would do this, just that no one stopped him from doing it. And they blame the Republicans, as always.

The CIA, using a double-agent Russian scientist, handed a blueprint for a nuclear bomb to Iran, according to a new book "State of War" by James Risen, the New York Times reporter, who exposed the Bush administration's controversial NSA spying operation, claims the plans contained fatal flaws designed to derail Tehran's nuclear drive.Wow, that's quite a "sentence."

Good afternoon.
"I'd give AQ Khan and his private Nuclear network more credit for any Iranian bomb than I would Bill Clinton."
Who will turn out to be the most useful to the Iranians in developing the bomb is less relevant to me than the simple fact that a President of the United States has willingly given militarily significant technology to nations that have declared themselves to be our enemy.
I'm worried that bill clinton's legacy will be thousands of dead Americans.

"Some history...."
Thanks Ernie. Quite interesting to say the least.
In a way I don't place fault on the Slick one regarding this issue.
He was sold a bill of goods that probably was a "slam donk".
He took the advice of his advisors, CIA, probably some military high ups to go ahead with the deal. This exact scenario could have played out in any administration whether demorat or republican, with the same end results.
Sounds like the fault has to lie within the group of scientist/engineers that gave the go ahead with the cook book to be delivered, for not being a lot more clever in how the information was presented. So on this one. I give Slicko a pass.
Of course the bastard still should be walking around with a chain and ball for all those deals he had with the commies over the years. I make no excuse for his general neglect concerning national security issues amoung a lot of other things.

He said that the transfer of classified data to Iran was personally approved by then-President Clinton and that the CIA deliberately gave Iranian physicists blueprints for part of a nuclear bomb that likely helped Tehran advance its nuclear weapons development program.
Rovember surprise!

The problem is this is not a scandal ,this was Standard policy under the Bubba administration. Madeline Halfbright was quoted at a forum that it was UNFAIR that the United States was the worlds only superpower .
So what do you expect Bubba to do , he personally set out to rectify that situation.
I am sorry I dont remember where it was that Albright made that statement but I heard it with my own ears. Maybe a nexus search will turn that up ,but I tremble at the thought at what else might not be fair for us to be Number 1 in ,Probably just existing.

Clinton: “We’ll give them a flawed set of plans for a nuclear bomb! That way, it will just blow up when they want to use it!”
Rest of Clinton Administration: “Great idea, Mister President! Cigar?”
Oh, that big 1982 Siberian explosion?

[snip] In our complex disinformation scheme, deliberately flawed designs for stealth technology and space defense sent Russian scientists down paths that wasted time and money... “The pipeline software that was to run the pumps, turbines and valves was programmed to go haywire,” writes Reed, “to reset pump speeds and valve settings to produce pressures far beyond those acceptable to the pipeline joints and welds. The result was the most monumental non-nuclear explosion and fire ever seen from space.” ...Farewell stayed secret because the blast in June 1982, estimated at three kilotons, took place in the Siberian wilderness, with no casualties known. Nor was the red-faced KGB about to complain publicly about being tricked by bogus technology. But all the software it had stolen for years was suddenly suspect, which stopped or delayed the work of thousands of worried Russian technicians and scientists. [unsnip]
Thanks Ernest.

Looks like Hillary is gaining on the Democratic nomination.....time to remember some of the achievements of her spouse.,.... From November 2005, this article excerpt seems appropriate:
"Clinton said the U.S. can't kill or jail all of its enemies, and should work to create more partners and fewer foes. He said once China and India become as prosperous as the U.S., they will determine whether America remains the only superpower.
"We should be trying to build a world, at this unique moment in history, that we would like to live in when we're not the only big dog on the block," Clinton said."
He wasn't just referring to the economic ascendancy of China or India (*expletive deleted*).
