You are in Baghdad, Kabul, Diego Garcia, Gitmo, Japan, South Korea and numerous other lonely places. You are always in our minds and hearts and millions of us pray for you many times in a day.
We will never be able to repay you for your sacrifices and those of your families. To simply thank you seems unfitting in the presence of such dedication. MILLIONS of us will always back you and your mission and we will NOT allow the same crap happen to you, that happened to our heroes during the Vietnam War! We took kerry down one day after he vowed to, "NEVER apologize".
WE are doing all in our power to defeat the domestic enemy here (dims), while you take care of defeating our enemies there. It's tough fighting here right now and things are getting worse daily... but it does not measure up to the hardships you endure in just a minute of your day.
You are not alone and as long as many of us here draw breath, you NEVER will be!
GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU! We are all proud of you, and the "greatest generation", those that are still with us and those that look down from heaven, look upon you with admiration and pride.

I'll take it one step further; you cannot support the troops without supporting the mission! Why? Because each is a volunteer and each has either reupped or joined in the last four years that we've been in this conflict. It's that simple.

Thank you for starting this thread!
I cannot adequately express my love, respect, and admiration for the brave, smart, talented men and women of our military. May God bless all of them and bring you safely home with your work well done. They are in my prayers every day!

To the troops--you are the finest young men and women of your generation. When I joined the Navy we weren't at war. For me, it was an easier decision. You joined the military knowing that, in all probability, you would endure hardship and danger during your service. I am humbled and awed by you. Fight the good fight. You make us proud every day. God bless you all and God bless the United States of America.

A big THANK YOU to all of our servicemen and women, past and present. It is bacause of you that we are able to all live in freedom. God bless every one of you.

To my nephew, Keith, who BTDT for 2 years in Iraq!
To all of our brave men and women who go in harm's way that the rest of may live free. Never again will you be abandoned, forgotten, and shamed as those who returned from Viet Nam were treated. You are our heroes! May God wrap you in His arms and protect you from those who would injure or take your life. May God greet those who do lose their lives at the gates of Heaven with His arms open wide and offer you the peace and happiness your sacrifice has given us here at home.
Let those who would throw words and actions at you that demean your efforts not find the joy that knowing you did what was right and just and suffer in their own inner Hell the remainder of Eternity.
May our Commander-In-Chief and those commanders below him be filled with the wisdom to direct your efforts to the benefit of all who wish to live free and happy lives.
May God grant wisdom to the electorate as we exercise our right to choose our representatives and may He please, please help us to elect anyone but those rotten Democrats! And while you're at it, Lord, please save us from John Kerry and Hillary Clinton - one of which has to be the Devil incarnate, or maybe both take turns!
To: GeorgiaDawg32
God bless our troops!
Keep them safe, Lord, keep the angels of protection around them. May the victory be ours and for your glory. Through Christ our Lord, Amen.

To all the troops: Wherever you are stationed, may God bless, protect, and keep you safe until you are home again. No words can adequately express my gratitude to each of you for the commitment you've undertaken and for your courage, tenacity, and spirit. It's you, not John Kerry or any other politician, who keep America safe. My thanks also go to your husbands, wives, children, parents, and grandparents for sharing you with America. You are what makes our country great and I love you more than I can say.

Thanks, GeorgiaDawg.
My sincere appreciation goes out to all the troops in harm's way, as well as the civilians who've also volunteered to help Iraq join the free world.

I love the military so much, I married a man in uniform! In all sincerity, and with a heart filled with gratitude and pride, every member of the U.S. military is tops in my book! I know it's a Marine slogan, but I think it really applies to all the branches........."No better friend. No worse enemy." You folks are the best! God Bless and keep you. Now.........GO GET 'EM!!!! =)

George Orwell, journalist and novelist wrote: "We sleep safe in our beds at night because men stand on our behalf ready to do violence against enemies who would destroy us."
Our only barrier between the death of our civilization and its continuance in the love of life and freedom are the brave and gallant of this nation who volunteer to serve on our behalf against all enemies who threaten our pursuit of life and happiness.
I have stood at Ground Zero--my fingers entwined in chain link fence as I stared at the gapping hole that is now hallowed ground. I took photos of this and sent them to our son in Iraq and his fiance in Afghanistan. "This is why you are where you are, doing what you are doing," I wrote.

THANK YOU TROOPS, YOU MAGNIFICENT, INTELLIGENT HEROES AND HEROINES!
