Tyhen Kerry issued a statement insulting Bush, CHeney, Tony Snow and Rush Limbaugh, written in the style of a fourth grader. It was so bad I thought it was a parody.

I did too. I even clicked on the link provided, figuring someone was hiding that it was from Scrappleface.

This is the perfect gift to the GOP. Kerry and the Dems are hosed. The far-left moonbats love this quote, for the most part. If Kerry apologizes for it, he'll never get their vote. If he sticks to his guns, he will suck the air out of Dems everywhere trying to attract enough moderates to win their respective elections.

Hey, me too. It is telling that he is late. Trying to get his remarks straight.

Or the Dems are still trying to drag him to the podium and FORCE him to apologize. Kerry is screaming, "nooooooooooooooo, I don't waaaannnnnaaaaaaaaaaa".

Is Kerry waiting for Limbaugh to go off?

Well, where is the old blowhard?

Maybe he realized his scheduling gaffe and they're stalling until after Limbaugh's show is over.

Bottom line, these Republicans want to debate straw men because they’re afraid to debate real men. And this time it won’t work because we’re going to stay in their face with the truth and deny them even a sliver of light for their distortions. No Democrat will be bullied by an administration that has a cut and run policy in Afghanistan and a stand still and lose strategy in Iraq.”

The fool's a fool.

I bet Nancy Pelosi is pulling her hair out...not a good look for her.

Is there such a thing as a "good look" for her?

Mr. Kerry should remind himself that when you have dug yourself into a hole, the first thing you should do is STOP DIGGING, but he will not. :) :)

This remark by Kerry may cost the democrats hundreds of thousands of votes next week.

I hope the RNC is making commercials at this very moment--flood the markets where there are tight races.

I think it was this, but I also think it was a Freudian Slip. Kerry is a total geek, and this, to him, was a joke. He'll come out and say something self deprecating, like "I was never one to be able to tell a good joke, and believe me, I screwed up this one. I'm sorry the joke came out sounding like I was insulting our Troops, no one loves them more than I, they are the best and brightest we have ever had. What I intended to do was point out how badly Bush led us into the Iraq Quagmire..."

Either that or he still thinks that there's a draft and that college students will get a deferment while those who aren't will end up in the draft...in Iraq. Either way shows his mentality.

Is this a statement from a GROWN MAN who is a UNITED STATES SENATOR, or a petulant child:

October 31, 2006

Statement of John Kerry Responding to Republican Distortions, Pathetic Tony Snow Diversions and Distractions

Washington – Senator John Kerry issued the following statement in response to White House Press Secretary Tony Snow, assorted right wing nut-jobs, and right wing talk show hosts desperately distorting Kerry’s comments about President Bush to divert attention from their disastrous record:

“If anyone thinks a veteran would criticize the more than 140,000 heroes serving in Iraq and not the president who got us stuck there, they're crazy. This is the classic G.O.P. playbook. I’m sick and tired of these despicable Republican attacks that always seem to come from those who never can be found to serve in war, but love to attack those who did.

I’m not going to be lectured by a stuffed suit White House mouthpiece standing behind a podium, or doughy Rush Limbaugh, who no doubt today will take a break from belittling Michael J. Fox’s Parkinson’s disease to start lying about me just as they have lied about Iraq. It disgusts me that these Republican hacks, who have never worn the uniform of our country lie and distort so blatantly and carelessly about those who have.

The people who owe our troops an apology are George W. Bush and Dick Cheney who misled America into war and have given us a Katrina foreign policy that has betrayed our ideals, killed and maimed our soldiers, and widened the terrorist threat instead of defeating it. These Republicans are afraid to debate veterans who live and breathe the concerns of our troops, not the empty slogans of an Administration that sent our brave troops to war without body armor.
