The question is whether Tennessee voters are smart enough to see thru this guy's act.

They must be getting desperate as the elections roll around. Using the very thing they despise to try to manipulate and control the behavior of those they despise.

He's batty, most of the folks who voted Democratic in 2004 almost never go to church or have a religious thought all year long.
Period.

He stopped a little short.........
It says judge not unless ye be judged. I don't mind being held to the same standards I hold others.

As if conservatives have a unified "approach to faith". What utter nonsense. As an ardent Papist, I have little in common with my evangelical and protestant fellow conservatives when it comes to "approach to faith".
But we all agree that stinking Godless commie scum being in power is a very bad thing.

Ford said one of the hallmarks of the Democratic Party is that members don't "use the Bible to judge people As near as I can tell, the Democratic Party doesn't use the Bible for anything other than a convenient accessory for photo ops.

"judge not" is where the dims stop and the republicans begin.
IE: don't choose between right or wrong, better or worse, for if you do, you're 'judgemental'.
..."lest ye be judged yourself": meaning you may judge others, as long as you hold yourself to the same standard.

It applies to eternal judgment anyway. It is asinine to claim Jesus was telling us not to hold ourselves and other believers accountable to moral standards.
To: SmithL
The moron thinks that will get him votes?
Does he not understand the concept of Irony?
I pity the fool.
