When the Republicans retain control in both chambers on November 7 (hopefully, gain a few), their first order of business on the domestic front should be to immediately pass legislation to make the tax cuts permanent. I know they will be distracted by the horrific screaming about the "stolen election", but they'll need to steel themselves against this and the increased vitriol concerning permanent tax cuts.

I hope that you are right but the numbers here in Pa are not too great for the GOP. The Democrats ads on TV and radio are so very ugly and untrue. Rendell looks like a shoe in and he will probably drag Casey along with him as well as several new congressional and state seats. Sad but probably true.

She didn't fumble through the interview...she was run over by Chris Wallace and Chuck Schumer. Wallace should be fired for the way he treated her. He allowed Schumer uninterrupted time to speak, but he and Schumer constantly interrupted her and even talked over her when she was speaking. Schumer was given 10 seconds and he took longer, and when Sen. Dole began to use her 10 seconds, she was talked over by Schumer. Wallace gave Schumer the first 30 second wrap up, and he was allowed to speak until Wallace had to tell him his time was up (way up) and when Ms. Dole began to speak, Wallace immediately interrupted her, challenged her on what she was saying...said she was wrong, and then Schumer began talking over both of them. Ms. Dole kept telling Wallace she wanted her 30 seconds, and he said, "You've had it." The truth of the matter is Wallace and Schumer took her 30 seconds to spout their Democrat talking points. Harold Ford's interview with Wallace can best be summed up as a free campaign promotion for him. If Wallace can't conceal his bias, he should be replaced as host of the program IMO.
