and if not for the Conservatives coming out in force the GOP will lose Congress.... Thanks for pointing out the obvious... Nobody says don't make your voices heard but the security of our nation should transcend politics... Do you believe the Rats feel that way? Every single positive step this President has initiated to fight the WOT has been met with RAT resistance... Imagine if they are the party in power... Yes there will be GOP resistance but will it matter? and the biggest question is at what expense?
The trolley bus is waiting for ya, take a ride.
I think the President said it most succintly in his last presser... Do we want our grand children to look back and say "What happened to those people in 2006, why did they lose their nerve fighting the war on Terror.... I will follow with if only they had continued the effort millions of us would be alive today... Your grand kids and mine.
"Do you know what the other side says hahahha we drove this wedge issue into their base"........
No, what the other side is saying is "thank you, Jorge"
I'm sure they're willing to give credit for the wedge where it is due, even if you aren't. And I certainly don't see him sweating bullets over the outcome of this election. Afterall, when it comes to the border issue, he wins even if the R's loose. Inspite of his harping on the WOT, clearly keeping the border open must be a priority, otherwise, it would have been effectively secured on 9/12 and amnesty not become a 'wedge' issue in a critical election year.
"but the security of our nation should transcend politics"
From your lips to Jorge's ears.
Earth to Bush?
Militarize the border, unite the party, now.
See my tagline. I've had it with people demanding we support RINOs after they've spent the past years screeching that conservatives are "unelectable."
I personally don't see the point of voting for any candidate who acts like a Dhimmicrat once they're in office. Just because someone has an have an 'R' by their name doesn't make their voting for pro-abortion, anti-Second Amendment, anti-business, and pro-gay marriage legislation any more palatable.
Save it for your grand kids.. When the rats take over and we are hit again well just hope that your offspring survive... I'll pray for you... You are one definately lost cause and if you can't even give the President respect enough to spell his name right maybe you would feel more comfortable posting at DU...LOST SOUL..
Please leave a message. Washington is still trying to push through their amnesty-for-illegals in the name of cheap labor. National security? Oh...they'll worry about that after a few jihadists come over the Vicente Fox expressway and strike a major U.S. city.
Fine you get what you vote for or in your case don't vote for... Risking America... Don't worry I'll save your posts for the TOLD YOU SO's... Don't want to see you complaining when DEM CONGRESS TRIPLES THE ILLEGALS and gives them all amnesty and your tax dollars for welfare... good luck.
Duh no attack since 911 ... Or do you think they haven't tried.... Earth to you lost soul.
Yeah...and Bush doing nothing about the open borders really makes our nation secure, huh? The fence that's just started should have been begun on September 12th, 2001. But instead, our "leadership" squandered all the political capital of the 2004 mandate on their idiotic amnesty-for-illegals bullcrap.
You wanna talk about national security? Let me assure you of this: you look positively silly squawking about that when our President is willing to sacrifice our borders in the name of cheap labor for big business.
And as for lost souls, tend to the beam in thine own eye. You don't see me losing my soul by voting for a liberal just because the idiot has an 'R' by its name.
bttt
You can stop waving around the Dhimmicrat scarecrow, sport. If that's the best you've got to offer for a reason to vote for a RINO, then you've just shown how much the Republican Party has lost its way.

So..........looks like Tom Rooney, Allen Bense, Tom Galligher, and several others had perspective faults also.
You hope the loses will be short term... besides I just love the Dems plan for immigration that solves are your concerns anyway... so don't vote and I guess you teach somebody a lesson.. Hopefully not yourself... I guess you weren't around for Perot... or were you a Perot voter well if you were then you are a hard headed never gonna learn your lesson voter thanks for Clinton... You go ahead and get what you think is important...
I was voting when Reagan first ran for President.
And I did not vote for Perot. That guy was a nuckfut.
I feel sorry for you. Only the morally lost can so readily sacrifice principles in the name of quick and hollow "victory."
But right now, that's not how I feel about the Republican party in general. They are not governing based on conservative philosophy of individual liberty and states' rights - they are governing based on cronyism and who is friends with whom. Occassionally, they'll throw a bone to true conservative philosophy - more likely all we hear is bogey-man talk about how much worse it would be with Democrats.
And instead of straight-talk and honesty - we get talking points and spin. I am so frigging sick of both.
If I didn't have as much admiration for my representative -Mr. Bobby Jindal, and important local issues, I'd sit this one out too.
The party leadership needs to become LEADERS instead of spin-meisters and political animals.
